"I didn’t think it through..." Sherry nodded gently, a hint of self-reproach on her face.
In all these years, this was the first ti she’d made such a mistake.
"I don’t want this kind of thing to happen again." The man’s voice, tinged with a bit of harshness, slowly sounded.
He didn’t leave her here to be bullied by those minor characters!
When the man’s words fell, Sherry’s face couldn’t help but change slightly.
"I understand, things like this won’t happen again in the future." She quickly nodded, promising.
"Don’t make regret trusting you!"
Upon hearing this, Sherry was montarily stunned. When she looked up at the man, he had already turned around, striding out of the villa, disappearing into the night.
Sherry stood frozen in place, watching his retreating figure. After a long while, she let out a gentle sigh.
On her intellectual face, there was indeed a bit more surprise.
When the man left just now, she clearly saw a trace of tension on that cold face.

Sumr Shawcross was outside in the cold wind for a long ti before her mind cleared, and she returned to the room.
Her body was truly exhausted; after a bath and lying down for a while, she fell wearily asleep.

On the quiet night, a cool breeze blew in from the window, making the curtains sway.
The room door was silently pushed open.
In the darkness, a tall and imposing figure appeared in the room.
His cold eyes fell directly on the figure lying in bed, and his eyes flickered slightly.
He walked straight to the bedside, staring intently at the sleeping woman, his gaze moving from her forehead slowly to her tightly closed eyes, the long lashes quietly covering, shielding her then vibrant eyes.
Just then, the sleeping woman suddenly called out a na.
"Noah Drexler..."
The man at the bedside shuddered violently... His body instantly went rigid!
On his cold, sharp face, his expression turned incredibly complex, his eyes deepening in color.
"Don’t go..." The sleepy woman mumbled incoherently, her fair little face now frowning, as if dreaming about sothing unhappy.
Sumr Shawcross slowly awakened from her dream.
When she opened her eyes, the dark room was silent.
