"But... I can’t tell you the reason right now, but I can promise you that I won’t hurt you; you’re very safe here." Saying this, Sherry paused for a mont, then looked at her seriously and continued.
"So, I hope you obediently stay here and stop thinking about leaving."
Sumr Shawcross stood there in a daze, her expression suddenly becoming sowhat complex.
"You wouldn’t... be with Dustin Hughes, would you?"
The person who captured her was lanie Trueman. Although lanie seed to have fallen out with Dustin Hughes, he should have so hold over lanie. So, it’s not impossible that Dustin Hughes was the one who saved her.
Could he be planning to keep her detained here, and then use her to threaten Noah Drexler?
With this thought, Sumr’s heart suddenly beca tense.
She seriously thought for a long ti, then suddenly spoke and asked Sherry.
"You just said, you won’t harm ?"
"Of course, from now on, in the entire Silvanus Manor, no one will bully you like Aunt Lin did." Sherry replied without hesitation.
Hearing her say this, Sumr finally pursed her lips and didn’t say anything more, then turned and went to the bathroom.
Soon, she took off Sherry’s dress and changed back into her own clothes, the expression on her face finally looking a bit more natural. She really wasn’t suited for sexy clothes.
"Your dress!" She raised her hand, tossing the dress to Sherry.
Sherry reached out to catch the dress, but didn’t change imdiately. Instead, she hesitated and glanced out the window, then continued to ask Sumr.
"Can I... can I stay here a little longer?"
At this mont, even though she was still wearing bright red lipstick and her usual heavy makeup, she seed a bit less fierce than usual, becoming a bit gentler.
Seeing her like this, Sumr couldn’t help but sigh, then said.
"This is all your domain. Could I really chase you away?" The entire Silvanus Manor was under her control, so she seed not to have the right to make her leave.
"Thank you." Sherry thanked her politely.
"Are you that afraid of him?" Seeing her like this, Sumr finally couldn’t help but ask.
Was she so afraid of Yancy Shaw that she didn’t even dare to step out the door?
Sherry hesitated, but didn’t deny it.
Sumr helplessly shook her head, then went to the wardrobe in the room, took out a light-colored dress, and tossed it to her.
"Anyway, the clothes were prepared for by you guys, so you can wear them!"
Sherry reached out to catch the dress and nodded slightly.
"Thank you, but... could I borrow your makeup?"
"Makeup?" Sumr was taken aback. She had just woken up, and had been busy familiarizing herself with the outside world these past few days, so she wasn’t very familiar with this small room.
She hadn’t used any makeup these past few days either.
"I had soone prepare it; it should be in the bathroom." Sherry paused, then continued.
"Wait here, I’ll get it for you!" Sumr looked at her, then turned into the bathroom and rummaged around, pulling out a large makeup box.
She handed the makeup box to Sherry; when she opened it, there really was a full set of costics and tools inside.
Sumr assud she just wanted to put on makeup, so she didn’t bother to look at her again, instead lounging lazily on a small sofa to rest.
