"Don’t just stand there, co sit down and try my cooking. I haven’t done this in years, so I hope I haven’t lost my touch!"
Sumr Shawcross glanced at her but didn’t sit down.
"I have sothing to discuss with you!" Seeing that she didn’t sit, Sister Snow’s expression turned serious.
"As it happens, I have sothing to discuss with you as well!" Sumr glanced at Sister Snow before walking up to her.
Just as Sister Snow was wondering what she ant, Sumr suddenly raised her hand, gripping her shoulder with one hand and holding her neck with the other.
In her hand, she held a sharp brow razor!
Although it was her first ti doing sothing like this, she tried her best to remain calm.
"What are you doing?" Sister Snow’s face showed a hint of surprise at Sumr’s actions.
"I want you to let leave this place!" Sumr bit her lip. She had to leave here!
There were still many things she hadn’t figured out!
"I’ve told you, I can’t let you go!" Despite the threat, Sister Snow showed no fear and spoke calmly.
"Aren’t you afraid I’ll act?" Sumr asked fiercely upon hearing this.
"Even if you kill , it won’t help. I can’t let you leave." Sister Snow remained stubborn as ever.
"Why?" Sumr was full of doubt, who was behind Sister Snow?
She couldn’t understand why soone would keep her here, yet treat her so well!
Just as she was puzzled, Sister Snow’s voice softly rose.
"If I let you go, I’ll be a dead woman too."
Sumr’s expression was one of shock...
Did she an that if she let her go, the people behind her wouldn’t let her off either?
Even though she wasn’t sure if it was just an excuse, hearing those words, Sumr’s expression changed, showing a hint of hesitation.
As she was lost in thought, Sister Snow’s voice rang out again.
"Instead of resorting to violence, why don’t we sit down and have a good talk."
Sumr gritted her teeth, her face still showing displeasure.
"Why don’t we strike a deal?" Seeing her silence, Sister Snow continued.
"A deal?" Sumr showed a curious expression.
She hesitated for a mont, then finally loosened her grip. She didn’t want to kill anyone and knew that she wouldn’t be allowed to leave anyway!
She had to think of another way.
Seeing her release her grip, Sister Snow smiled, then pointed to the seat at the dining table, smiling at her.
"Please, sit."
Sumr glanced at her, then cautiously sat down across from her.
Sister Snow also sat down opposite her, looked up at Sumr, and seriously proposed.
"As long as you agree to stay here, I’m willing to give you half of Silvanus Manor’s profits and... make you the second most powerful person here, after . What do you think?"
