She originally planned to stop by the restaurant to grab a drink, but before she could get there, she suddenly bumped into soone.
A man exuding righteousness was hurrying towards her and finally stopped in front of her, blocking her way.
Seeing who it was, Sumr Shawcross paused, then smiled politely, and greeted him.
"Mr. Shaw, what a coincidence... we et again!"
"Not a coincidence, I ca looking for you!" Yancy Shaw said seriously, looking at Sumr Shawcross.
Sumr was taken aback by his gaze... It wasn’t as cold and sharp as Noah Drexler’s, lacking that strong oppressive feel, but it didn’t differ much, just missing a bit of the chill.
"Looking for ?" Sumr was a little surprised. Did he want to help her?
Just as she showed a glimr of joy, Evan Shaw’s voice rang out, questioning her.
"Where is Raina?"
With his question, Sumr’s smile froze.
"Ahem... didn’t I already tell you, you’ve got the wrong person. There’s no Raina here, and I don’t understand what you’re talking about." Although she couldn’t quite call Snow her friend yet, rembering her panicked attempt to avoid Yancy Shaw that day, she instinctively chose to keep it secret.
Hearing her response, a hint of disappointnt flashed across Yancy Shaw’s face, but after a mont, his expression turned determined as he spoke to Sumr.
"I didn’t mistake her identity. The person I saw was indeed Raina!" Surely, he couldn’t have mistaken the woman he loved most!
Seeing his persistence, Sumr showed a trace of helplessness.
As she was thinking of how to persuade him, his tone suddenly softened, and he sincerely said to her.
"Miss, it’s okay if you don’t want to tell where she is."
He paused for several seconds before continuing.
"I just want to know if she’s still alive!"
In that short sentence, his voice inexplicably carried a touch of desolation.
Hearing his voice, Sumr was montarily stunned... his humble plea stirred her sense of compassion.
Sohow, she suddenly felt that this man before her truly loved Raina...
But, Raina might not love him in return.
With that thought, Sumr’s emotions beca a bit complicated.
Seeing her lower her head and remain silent, Yancy Shaw’s expression changed, and he subconsciously stepped back two steps.
"What I saw that day... was it just a soul?"
Does she still not forgive him, does she still hate him?
Hate to the point that even as a soul, she still wants to hide from him, avoid him, and tornt him...
Looking at the man before her, Sumr couldn’t help but sigh, and suddenly thought of sothing...
Soul...
The next second, she suddenly raised her head, smiling as she looked at him.
"I can help you see her once, but... you have to do sothing for first!"
Upon hearing Sumr’s words, the previously dejected man suddenly had a glimr in his eyes.
"Okay, I’m willing to agree to anything!" he imdiately replied, eagerly.
Seeing him agree so hastily, Sumr was taken aback.
"Aren’t you afraid I’ll ask for your life?" she couldn’t help but ask.
"Not afraid! Even if it ans death, just to see her once is worth it!" Yancy Shaw chuckled.
