Thinking of this, Sumr Shawcross felt a pang in her heart. The grievances and anger that had been suppressed for days finally erupted all at once.
"Noah Drexler, you’re such a bastard!" she snarled, her voice choked, and tears uncontrollably stread down her face...
Hearing her sobs, the man stiffened, and his handso face gradually took on a solemn expression, his dark eyes filled with undisguisable heartache.
He used to wish she would cry, that she would vent, but now...the mont she started crying, the tears fell like they were free, pouring out uncontrollably.
Watching the woman sobbing sorrowfully in his arms, Noah Drexler’s expression turned rigid.
And the woman in his arms cried more and more sorrowfully, more and more aggrieved.

What did he take her for? Not a single explanation, not a word of clarification, just left her here alone!
And he brought a group of people to deceive her, trapping her here!
She was really worried that she would be trapped here for half a year, unable to see him!
It was ridiculous that after waking up, she was always fearful of him worrying, staying awake every night, thinking of ways to leave, wanting to see him, even dreaming about it!
But he just watched it all happen, treating her like a fool, mocking her!
The man pressed his thin lips together, saying nothing, allowing the woman in his arms to vent her emotions freely.
But hearing her aggrieved cries, his heart ached, a feeling more painful than being cut with a knife.
"Noah Drexler, just go. I never want to see you again!" She continued to cry aggrievedly and scolded angrily, but even though she told him to leave, her hands clutched tightly onto his shirt, unwilling to let go.
Her current deanor added a layer of helplessness and indulgence to the man’s already pained and handso face.
In the end, does she want him to leave, or to stay?
"I’m sorry!" he suddenly lowered his head, pressing his lips to her ear, his throat tightened, and he whispered.
He hadn’t thought things through carefully, underestimated her intelligence, thinking she could live comfortably and safely here.
He hadn’t expected her heart to be so sad and distressed.
Her cries alone were enough to almost break his heart...
As his words fell, he buried his nose into her hair, indulgently inhaling the faint scent from her hair.
She had changed her shampoo, but it still brought him the sa peace of mind.

Sumr Shawcross cried for a long ti; finally hearing his apology caused more uncontrollable tears to flow.
"Who wants your hypocritical apology, you bad person!" she bit her lip, speaking aggrievedly.
He had deceived her for so long, made her so miserable, and now with just two perfunctory words, he thought that would be enough to dismiss her!
Hearing this, Noah Drexler’s gaze flickered, and then he lowered his voice, continuing to ask her.
"Then what do you want to do?"
What should he do to appease her, to stop her tears?
