"Give the dicine. Tell the butler that I’ll make sure Noah takes it, so he can rest assured." Autumn Duval glanced disdainfully at the servant in front of her.
The attitude of this new servant made her a bit displeased.
Ever since she got engaged to Noah, everyone in The Drexler Family treated her, the future mistress of the house, with utmost respect.
But this new servant was the only exception, acting as if she didn’t even exist.
Unexpectedly, just as her hands touched the tray, the servant held it tightly, with no intention to let go.
"No need to trouble Miss Duval. As soon as I see with my own eyes that the young master has taken the dicine, I’ll naturally leave." Sumr Shawcross turned her head and said to Autumn Duval in a polite tone.
However, deep down, she felt sowhat uncomfortable.
The man in front of her was her husband, yet this woman acted as if she were the legitimate wife in her presence, making her slightly resentful.
Sumr, the real wife standing here now, felt vexed by this woman trying to assert herself like a mistress.
Feeling displeased, Sumr couldn’t hold back any longer and directly confronted her.
The servant’s words instantly changed Autumn Duval’s expression...
"You!" she exclaid with widened, angry eyes.
Even an ordinary-looking servant dared to provoke her?
Facing the other’s anger, Sumr showed no sign of fear but raised her head, eting her gaze!
The servant’s arrogant calmness successfully infuriated Autumn, who, in a fit of rage, forcefully pushed the tray towards her!
Autumn’s sudden movent caught Sumr off guard, causing her to lose her balance and fall backward...
Just as she was falling, the man who had been standing there coldly suddenly changed his expression.
The next second, he abruptly pushed the woman beside him aside and strode toward the falling figure...

A few soft crashes were the sound of the dicine and cups from Sumr’s tray hitting the ground, and the dull thud was the sound of her falling onto the floor...
Sumr hit the floor, gasping from the pain, but she still clung tightly to the tray in her hand...
Almost simultaneously with her fall, the man took large strides to her side, but it was already too late.
Seeing the woman in pain on the floor, Noah Drexler’s handso face was full of tension.
He suddenly squatted down in front of her, extending his arms to lift the woman from the floor and carried her to the sofa, where he gently placed her down.

She froze on the sofa, forgetting the pain, looking at the man leaning in front of her with a bewildered face, and he was watching her anxiously.

In her mont of bewildernt when Noah approached her, even she forgot her current role as a servant...

"Where did you hit?" The man didn’t care about any of that. He asked her nervously, his cold eyes scanning her from head to toe.
However...her entire body, even at her collarbone, was a dark complexion, which took so getting used to for him.
