Sumr Shawcross’s question made Sherry pause, her face just as dark, with an expression that suddenly froze.
She instinctively diverted her gaze, avoiding eye contact with Sumr Shawcross.
"Although the boss let manage Silvanus Manor, I’m ultimately just soone who handles things and don’t know everything." She laughed awkwardly and then said.
Hearing Sherry say this, Sumr’s expression showed a bit of disappointnt.
She originally thought Sherry should know sothing, after all, Noah Drexler entrusted the entire Silvanus Manor to her, he should have trusted her quite a bit.
But unexpectedly, she didn’t know either.
However, Sumr had thought carefully, believing her previous reasoning wasn’t wrong.
Sherry said nothing more, quietly helping Sumr remove her makeup, and then applying it anew.
Sumr stayed there for the entire afternoon.
Finally, her makeup was completed once again.
Sumr looked in the mirror for a long ti, unable to help but marvel at Sherry’s craftsmanship.
It looked exactly the sa as before she had removed the makeup.
At this mont, suddenly there ca a noisy knocking at the door in the small room.
"Sherry, why haven’t you left yet? Miss Duval is getting angry." Outside the door ca the discontented voice of a servant.
Listening to the voice from outside, Sumr holding the mirror froze for a mont.
"Okay, I’ll be right there!" Sherry tidied up the makeup tools while responding to the outside.
After she finished speaking, the sound of footsteps leaving finally ca from outside.
Hearing the footsteps fade away, a displeased expression ford on Sumr’s face.
"What is Autumn calling you for?"
For so reason, perhaps due to an innate aversion to Autumn Duval, she felt that whatever Autumn wanted Sherry for was no good.
"Now I’m a servant, naturally serving tea and water, what else can I do?" Sherry gave her a reassuring smile.
Hearing this, Sumr’s expression grew even more worried.
"Has she been calling you frequently these past two days?"
She suddenly rembered Sherry and she stayed in the sa room, that Autumn might be bothering Sherry because of matters involving Noah Drexler.
"Don’t overthink it, I’ll leave first, wait two minutes after I’ve left to go back." Sherry softly advised her.
Just as Sumr was about to say sothing more, Sherry suddenly interrupted her.
"Just take care of the boss. After all, I’m the Sherry of Silvanus Manor. Things won’t best at The Drexler Family!"
Sherry spoke confidently, then opened the door and left.
Sumr instinctively wanted to follow but knowing she was in The Drexler Family, she held herself back.
Two minutes later, she left the small room.
From the servants’ dormitory back to The Drexler Family’s large villa, she had to walk a long, winding path.
Sumr walked on the path absentmindedly, partly because she suspected Sean Morgan was poisoned, and partly because she wanted to stay by Noah Drexler’s side, causing Sherry trouble, which made her feel guilty.
Just as she was lost in thought, a few strange noises suddenly ca from the shade of trees above.
Sumr was startled by the noise and saw a grayish-brown ball suddenly drop down, landing directly at her feet.
She instinctively stepped back.
The ball on the ground suddenly struggled, with a pair of large wings flapping on the ground.
