Suddenly, a voice ca that made Sumr Shawcross pause and turn her head towards the door in surprise.
Butler Ye pushed open the wooden door, and Master Long walked in, leaning on his cane.
Seeing the incoming person, Sumr paused for a mont. The thought that he might have heard her badmouthing Master Long earlier made her face suddenly feel a bit awkward.
However, she felt no guilt about it. Master Long was indeed a nasty old man and not as likable as his falcon, so she was just speaking the truth!
Master Long walked into the small courtyard and slowly approached Sumr Shawcross.
Following behind him were a few servants, carrying large bags, heading towards the small building.
When she saw Master Long approaching, Sumr glanced at him and then turned her gaze away, not wanting to look at him anymore.
Noticing her awkward expression, Master Long paused, and a hint of helplessness appeared on his wrinkled face.
"General, why are you wandering off again!" At this mont, Butler Ye suddenly walked over, stopping in front of Sumr Shawcross with an apologetic smile.
"Young madam, I am truly sorry. The General usually doesn’t behave like this. I’m not sure what’s gotten into him these past couple of days."
