Seeing her face darken, a smug look appeared on Autumn Duval’s face as she spoke to her.
"Sister, are you angry? I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have brought that up earlier, but after all, I’m about to be Noah’s wife. It’s only right for him to treat better. I hope you don’t mind."
After hearing Autumn Duval’s words, Sumr Shawcross let out a laugh.
"It’s nothing, just wondering how Noah Drexler’s taste suddenly dropped so much, to send you such low-end, cheap things!"
As Sumr Shawcross finished speaking, Autumn Duval’s entire face went pale. She gave Sumr an annoyed glare, held back for a while, and then spoke again.
"Maybe Noah gave a casual order, and the people below weren’t too thoughtful when buying." She forced a smile and then spoke in a soft voice.
These were high-end goods she personally asked Butler Ye to purchase, and this woman actually called them cheap?!
"However, sister, it’s normal you didn’t recognize them if you’ve intentionally never seen such items before. I won’t hold it against you." Autumn Duval smiled.
She didn’t believe that a beggar from the defeated Shawcross Family would know anything about high-end goods.
"Take all this stuff away, even our dogs wouldn’t touch this trash!" Sumr Shawcross waved her hand dismissively, her face full of disdain.
After she spoke, Autumn Duval’s expression changed again, but she quickly regained her composure.
"As far as I know, sister, you don’t seem to have any dogs."
"Oh, then your information must be wrong. You could have soone check again to see if I have a few stray dogs!"
Indeed, there were a few stray dogs near The Hillside Villa that loved their freedom and refused to be adopted. Sumr Shawcross would often bring various high-end nutrients made by the butler to feed them, which made the butler quite upset at the ti.
Over ti, those stray dogs beca quite picky, and later on, it was usually the servants from The Hillside Villa who fed them gourt food daily. Now, those dogs had beco the envy of all the stray dogs in the area!
Autumn Duval’s pale face finally couldn’t hold back and turned into one full of anger.
"Sister, what do you an by this? Are you jealous of ?" she asked, glaring at Sumr Shawcross in dissatisfaction.
Upon hearing Autumn Duval’s words, Sumr almost thought she heard it wrong.
Where did she get the confidence to think I would be jealous of her?
From head to toe, what on earth does she have that’s worth making jealous?
"I’m sorry, everything you’re about to have is a life I’ve long been tired of. No need to be jealous of you!" Sumr glanced at Autumn, her face full of contempt.
"You!" Autumn Duval bit her lip tightly, angrily staring at Sumr.
"Miss Duval..." A servant hurried over, gently reminding her.
Mr. Drexler had instructed her not to have any more conflicts with this Sumr Shawcross.
The servant’s words made Autumn’s face change, and then, unwillingly, she suppressed her anger.
"Sister, it’s all my fault, please don’t bla , okay? I promise, after I marry Noah, I won’t drive you away. You can still stay by his side." She looked at Sumr Shawcross, speaking with reluctance.
Listening to Autumn’s words, Sumr found it amusing, looking at her with so curiosity, and then suddenly, kindly reminded her.
