Sumr Shawcross was made uncomfortable all over by his gaze, inexplicably giving rise to a feeling of guilt.
She bit her lip and instinctively averted her eyes, looking elsewhere in the room.
Fortunately, it wasn’t long before there was a knock on the door by a servant.
"Young Master, the ice has arrived." The servant’s voice ca from outside the door.
Hearing the servant’s voice, Noah Drexler’s frown deepened.
"Bring it in." Sumr Shawcross glanced towards the door and quickly spoke.
As soon as she started speaking, the door was pushed open by the servant from outside.
Two servants ca in, each carrying a bucket full of ice.
The servants glanced at the situation inside and imdiately recognized that the person who had called earlier was Sumr Shawcross, so they carried the ice over to her.
"Young Mistress, this is all the ice The Drexler Family has right now." As the servant spoke, a puzzled expression appeared on her face.
They didn’t know why the Young Mistress needed so much ice.
Although the weather was indeed hot, The Drexler Family had air conditioning everywhere, and the only use for the ice was to put so in drinks, which ordinary people would never use up quickly.
Listening to the servant, Sumr nodded, looked at them politely, and then spoke.
"Alright, thank you, just leave it here."
At these words, the two servants nodded, placed the buckets of ice in the bedroom, and then turned to leave.
After the two servants left, Sumr Shawcross glanced at the dark-faced Noah Drexler, then picked up one of the buckets of ice, walked into the bathroom, and directly poured the ice into the bathtub. She then turned and fetched the other bucket of ice, following the sa procedure, and dumped it all into the bathtub, before turning on the faucet to let in cold water.
In no ti, the bathtub was filled with water.
Sumr turned off the faucet, reached out to touch the bathtub, and tested the water temperature, only to be shocked.
Unexpectedly, these two buckets of ice made a huge difference, and the water was already bone-chillingly cold...
Just as she was sitting by the bathtub, testing the water temperature, the bathroom door was once again pushed open, and the dark-faced man walked in from outside, coming directly to her side, only glancing down at the ice-filled bathtub, his expression shifting.
Seeing him suddenly co in, Sumr was montarily stunned and sowhat surprised.
She did it deliberately to provoke him since he had set her up, by having the servants bring in the ice, not actually intending for him to use such cold water for a bath.
Because she had initially determined that this man would never comply.
But she hadn’t expected...
After Noah Drexler stopped beside her, he raised his hand to undo the buttons of his black suit, then took off the suit, casually throwing it on the bathroom floor, and proceeded to loosen his tie and the buttons of his white shirt, apparently preparing for a bath.
Watching his current actions, Sumr was taken aback.
Could he really intend to take a bath in there?
And just as she looked at him in utter astonishnt, Noah Drexler had already taken off his white shirt and thrown it on the floor, lowered his eyes to glance at the stunned Sumr by the bathtub, and suddenly asked.
"Are you planning to stay and watch?"
