Sumr Shawcross was looking up at Noah Drexler, feeling a bit lost at the thought of not seeing him for a few days.
She hadn’t had enough of his handso face yet.
At this mont, she regretted her blindness in her past life for not realizing how handso and manly this man was.
Even just leaning against him at night felt incredibly safe.
"Ma’am, aren’t you going to say a few words to your husband?" The butler beside her seed to perceive sothing and quickly spoke to Sumr Shawcross.
Sumr, who had been lost in thought while gazing at Noah, snapped back to reality upon hearing the butler’s words. She thought for a mont, then spoke earnestly.
"I heard the osmanthus cake and roast duck in Lyra are quite delicious. Bring so back for on your way."
After all, he was going back to The Drexler Family, so it shouldn’t be a problem to bring her so food.
In her past life, her mind was preoccupied with how to kill him, and only before her death did she realize she hadn’t truly enjoyed life with all its eating and drinking, so now she wanted to make up for it.
"..." As her voice filled the air, Noah’s expression visibly sank.
Osmanthus cake, roast duck?
All she could think about were these things?
Did she consider him, her husband, dead?
However, Sumr didn’t notice this; she was earnestly pondering the delicacies of Lyra and spoke again.

Just as Noah was leaving the villa and about to get in the car, the sound of footsteps ca from behind, followed closely by a soft hand suddenly grasping his hand at his side.
"Wait, I haven’t finished speaking yet." A soft voice sounded behind him, causing his heart to soften...
"Ma’am, just tell what you want to eat, and I’ll make sure to bring everything back for you." Sean, glancing at Noah’s expression, hurriedly spoke to Sumr.
"No, do you think I’m just a foodie, with food on my mind all the ti?" Sumr rolled her eyes at Sean, speechless.
"..." Sean quickly shut his mouth.
"I looked it up; the temperature in Lyra is a bit low. Rember to wear an extra layer so you don’t catch a cold." She watched Noah’s back and continued patiently.
As she finished speaking, the man’s body quivered slightly.
She purposely... checked the temperature in Lyra?
"Oh, and rember, finish up quickly and co back early... mmm..." Before she could finish her words, the man suddenly turned around, lowering his head to block her rambling mouth with his lips, swallowing the rest of her words.
She froze, as his mature masculinity imdiately surrounded her entire being.
He cupped the back of her head, kissing her forcefully, the heat... leaving her breathless.
Even so, she didn’t want to push him away. Instead, she couldn’t help but reach up and climb onto his back.
And at the very mont her hand touched his back, the man abruptly released her.
She was startled, her lips slightly reddened from the kiss, looking at him in confusion.
He lowered his eyes, his cold gaze fixating on her face, staring at her intently.
A wave of irritation rose in his heart; he didn’t want to leave!
