"Mr. Drexler, it’s such a coincidence that you ca today. It’s our bar’s tenth anniversary. If you’re not too busy, how about staying for dinner?" Mr. Lu said with a smile, looking politely at Noah Drexler, a young man a generation younger than him, with respect.
It was not only because of Noah Drexler’s current prestigious status but also because many years ago, when Mr. Lu’s business faced difficulties, Noah had made a deal with him.
Thanks to that deal, he successfully overca those difficult tis, and his business progressed smoothly.
All of this was inseparable from Noah Drexler’s help back then.
And Mr. Lu was soone who knew how to be grateful. Even though he knew that Noah’s original intention wasn’t to help him, he remained thankful.
After speaking, Mr. Lu looked expectantly at Noah Drexler.
Noah Drexler, with a cold expression, glanced at Sumr Shawcross, then moved his Adam’s apple and agreed.
"Fine!"
Seeing Noah agree, Mr. Lu’s face lit up with happiness. He quickly returned to the dining table and pulled out the chair at the head of the table for him.
"Please take a seat."
However, Noah Drexler showed no intention of sitting down. Instead, he narrowed his eyes and glanced at the seat opposite Sumr Shawcross.
Noticing this, Mr. Lu was montarily stunned, then awkwardly laughed and hurried to pull out the chair across from Sumr Shawcross for him.
"Please have a seat!"
This ti, Noah Drexler pursed his lips, then sat down with a blank expression. However, his gaze was firmly locked on Sumr Shawcross opposite him.
"..." Sumr Shawcross kept her head down, quietly eating, because she feared that if she looked up and saw the man’s obnoxious face, she wouldn’t be able to resist throwing the juice in her hand at him!

"Miss Shawcross, you don’t look well. Are you feeling unwell?" At that mont, Zachary Lockwood noticed that Sumr Shawcross’s face was a bit pale and couldn’t help asking with concern.
Hearing the concerned voice, Sumr Shawcross, who had been keeping her head down, suddenly looked up, glanced at Shawn Lockwood beside her, and then politely smiled.

As soon as she ntioned being cold, Shawn Lockwood unhesitatingly took off his off-white suit jacket and draped it over her shoulders.
Sumr Shawcross paused, feeling a bit unaccustod to the suit carrying a strange man’s scent.
Subconsciously wanting to politely refuse, however... at that mont, she felt a gaze as cold as ice piercing through her.
Her gesture to refuse halted.
The next second, she turned her head to look at the man across from her.
He was staring intensely at the suit she had on, his expression frighteningly fierce, as if... he wanted to devour her.
So, she put on a smile; since he could go out and find other won, why couldn’t she accept another man’s suit?
With that thought, she graciously accepted and politely thanked Zachary Lockwood, saying, "Thank you, I feel much better now."
— Bang!
A sudden sound of sothing breaking echoed at the dining table.
Everyone turned their heads in shock towards the sound, only to find in horror that the wooden chopsticks in Noah Drexler’s hand had amazingly snapped into four fragile fragnts...
