The anger that had been building in her heart suddenly erupted all at once.
Sumr Shawcross bit her lip, her eyes involuntarily moistening.
Just the thought of that woman’s voice on the phone made her so angry she wanted to leave, to get as far away from him as possible!
No matter how generous she could be, she couldn’t tolerate her man going out to seek other won...
Moreover, Sumr Shawcross had never been soone forgiving.
Even though she kept restlessly struggling, pushing against his chest, Noah Drexler’s hands on her waist and back showed no intention of letting go. Instead, he held her even tighter.
"Noah Drexler, you just love to bully , get lost!"
Yet the man’s hands on her waist and back had no intention of loosening, but rather tightened further around her.
Sumr was upset, ready to continue berating him when he suddenly lowered his head, and then... his deep voice sounded beside her ear!
"Sumr Shawcross, stop making a fuss!"
He held her, his brow tightly furrowed.
Tonight, when she was smiling and chatting with another man, he was about to explode with anger!
She was the only person in the world who could anger him to such an extent and yet leave him unable to do anything about it!
His voice fell softly in the darkness, yet it inexplicably tightened Sumr’s heart.
After a mont, she finally cald down a bit.
"You think I’m making a fuss?" she laughed sarcastically, "Do you think I should just swallow my anger quietly when you go out looking for won?"
Does he think n are naturally entitled to go out and play around?
Or... does he think him going out to find won is just a trivial matter?
But to her, it was a massive issue.
She could not tolerate her husband seeking other won!
As her words fell, Noah Drexler’s body paused for a mont.
The next second, the man’s voice, carrying a touch of delight, sounded.
"Still angry?"
He had thought she was so engrossed in chatting with that boyish man that she’d forgotten about him!
Yet unexpectedly... she was still angry.
It was sothing that should trouble him, but at this mont, he inexplicably felt a trace of joy in his heart.
"Noah Drexler, I’m telling you, I’m not soone who swallows my anger quietly. Since you dared to go looking for another woman today, I’m definitely divorcing you!" Sumr said angrily, not noticing anything unusual in his deanor.
Divorce?
Hearing her words, Noah Drexler’s expression darkened, instantly becoming serious.
Flynn Hughes, that fool, he’ll definitely give him a good thrashing!
He pressed his lips, suddenly lowered his head, and spoke with utmost seriousness.
"I didn’t go out looking for another woman."
His exceptionally earnest voice stunned Sumr for a mont; at that mont, she heard the strong, rhythmic heartbeat in his chest.
She was alard to find that at this mont, deep down... she wanted to believe him.
Was she out of her mind!
"Noah Drexler, do you take for a fool?" she laughed, a bit speechless.
How could she believe him based on just one sentence?
On the phone, she clearly heard a sweet woman’s voice! Just thinking about that woman’s voice made her even angrier.
"..." In the darkness, Noah Drexler’s face looked sowhat uncomfortable.
She didn’t believe him?
He used to disdain explaining such matters because he never cared about others’ views or thoughts.
