The staff mber nodded and said, "That’s right. We have branches all over the country, and our agents are among the best."
Getting her confirmation, Bai Hanyun said, "I would like to hire a permanent personal bodyguard. Can you help with the process?"
"Certainly. I will inform the manager. Please wait a mont." The female staff replied.
She then picked up the phone, dialed a number, and waited. When the call was connected, she said, "Manager Ma, there is a young lady here who wants to hire a permanent bodyguard. Mhm, alright."
Ending the call, she turned to Bai Hanyun and said, "Miss, Manager Ma will see you in the eting room. Please follow ."
"Alright."
The female staff then led Bai Hanyun to a small eting room on the second floor. Opening the door, she said, "Miss, please have a seat."
Bai Hanyun nodded and sat down. Shortly after, the staff mber returned with a cup of tea.
Placing the cup of tea in front of Bai Hanyun, she said, "Miss, Manager Ma will be here in a mont. Please enjoy so refreshnts while you wait."
"Thank you."
After she left, Bai Hanyun waited about five minutes before a man in his thirties entered with five n in black suits.
Smiling at her, the man extended a hand and politely said, "Sorry to keep you waiting, Miss. I’m Ma Yuan. You can call Manager Ma. Nice to et you."
Bai Hanyun shook his hand. "My na is Bai Hanyun. Nice to et you too, Manager Ma."
Gesturing for her to have a seat, Ma Yuan sat down in front of her and said, "I heard you are looking for a permanent bodyguard?"
"Yes."
Getting her confirmation, Ma Yuan gestured to the five n in black suits and introduced the group.
"These five are our best agents. All have martial arts backgrounds and rank in the top ten on national agent lists."
Bai Hanyun looked over at the five n. Four of them were heavily built, but the tall, lean man at the end caught her attention.
After a mont of thought, she pointed to him. "Manager Ma, he looks suitable for the job. How much is his salary?"
Ma Yuan was a little surprised by her choice. It was rare for clients to choose soone without a larger build since bodyguards with huge muscles were more intimidating and popular amongst the clients.
Although he was surprised, Ma Yuan didn’t show any of it in his smiling face. "Miss Bai has a sharp eye. That’s our top agent, rank number one, Hua Yuyu."
After introducing Hua Yuyu, he opened a folder and handed it to Bai Hanyun.
Reading through Hua Yuyu’s profile, Bai Hanyun saw that Hua Yuyu was a forr special forces captain, proficient with various weapons, an expert in martial arts, and fluent in seven languages.
Looking at Hua Yuyu’s impressive background and achievents, she hesitated.
After a mont of thought, she looked up at Ma Yuan and asked, "Master Hua’s profile is very impressive... I assu his salary is quite high, right?"
Ma Yuan chuckled and explained, "Our company only acts as a liaison between clients and bodyguards. We charge a 10% fee on the salary, which is borne by clients. As for the actual price, the client can negotiate directly with the bodyguard."
