A chill crept up from Bai Li’s soles, the fear in her chest tightened so much she could scarcely breathe, and her face went ashen.
Seeing her utterly terrified, Ke Ting stepped back and ordered, "Take her out."
After watching the security guards drag the horrified Bai Li away, Ke Ting turned to the receptionists and said, "Well done. The four of you will get double bonuses this month."
Hearing this, the receptionists’ eyes lit up. They smiled and hurriedly said, "Thank you, Assistant Ke."
After dealing with Bai Li, Ke Ting returned to the CEO’s office and said, "Boss, I have dealt with that trash. She is so annoying. Why don’t you let deal with her? I really want to kill her whenever I hear her screams."
Seeing that Gui Xiaoxu didn’t respond, Ke Ting walked up to him and curiously asked, "Boss, what are you looking at?"

Realizing that Gui Xiaoxu was observing Gui Ying, Ke Ting asked, "Boss, do you believe what he said?"
Gui Xiaoxu frowned slightly and replied, "Although his words are hard to believe, the mont I saw him, I knew he was one of my Gui Clan mbers. Not only that, but the aura I felt from him was even stronger than the one I feel from my grandfather."
Ke Ting’s eyes flickered at his words.

Looking at Gui Xiaoxu, Ke Ting asked, "What will you do with him?"

Ke Ting pondered for a mont and then suggested, "Boss, didn’t he say he ca here because he followed Miss Bai? If we want to find out the truth, I think we should just ask Miss Bai directly."
Gui Xiaoxu thought for a mont, then nodded in agreent. "You are right. Ke Ting, help make an appointnt with Miss Bai."
"Yes, Boss."
After Ke Ting left the CEO’s office, Gui Xiaoxu turned his attention back to the screen.
Looking at the nine grids of surveillance feeds, Gui Xiaoxu muttered, "Are you here to help break this curse... or are you here to kill ?"
Just as his words fell, Gui Ying, who was lying on the bed playing on his phone, suddenly looked toward the surveillance cara in the corner of the room.
He smiled and silently mouthed, "This young master is here to find my greatuncle. Since you are his descendant, this young master will help you break the seal. Don’t worry, you won’t die."
Gui Xiaoxu’s eyes flickered with shock after reading Gui Ying’s lips. After a brief silence, he suddenly chuckled and said, "Good. Since you are here to help , I will accept you as my family."
Sitting up on the bed, Gui Ying smiled at the surveillance cara and said, "Good boy. As a eting gift, this young master will give you sothing nice."
After saying that, Gui Ying snapped his fingers, and a small wooden box appeared on top of Gui Xiaoxu’s mahogany desk.
Witnessing this, Gui Xiaoxu was now certain that Gui Ying was truly a mber of the original Gui Clan. The reason was simple—only they could perform such magic.
Seeing that Gui Ying had refocused his attention on his ga, Gui Xiaoxu reached out and opened the small wooden box.
Inside, a pearl-white pill shrouded in a faint golden light rested on top of a black-and-purple cloth.
As Gui Xiaoxu touched the cloth, his eyes flickered when he recognized it was made from the sa material as the garnts worn by his ancestors when they first entered this world.

After confirming the cloth’s material, Gui Xiaoxu picked up the pearl-white pill and examined it carefully. Seeing nothing unusual except for the dense, warm energy it emitted, Gui Xiaoxu made a quick decision.
Without hesitation, he swallowed the pearl-white pill.
The mont it touched his tongue, the pearl-white pill dissolved into warm energy that slid down his throat and circulated through his body.
Wherever the warmth passed, the pain in his ridians disappeared.
Gui Xiaoxu let out a comfortable sigh and thought, ’This is the first ti in my life I have felt so comfortable and free of pain. Looks like I really can break this curse before my thirtieth birthday arrives.’
With that thought, Gui Xiaoxu picked up his phone and called Ke Ting.
As soon as the call connected, he ordered, "Ke Ting, prepare the best-quality food, snacks, and entertainnt for Gui Ying. Announce to everyone that Gui Ying is my family, and whoever dares to disrespect him will be sent to Xuan Wu."
Ke Ting wasn’t surprised by this. Since Gui Xiaoxu had already accepted Gui Ying as family, Ke Ting asked, "Boss, do you still want to et with Miss Bai?"
"Yes. I still need to find out how they travel between worlds."
Hearing his answer, Ke Ting replied, "Understood. I will arrange it imdiately."
After ending the call, Ke Ting put his phone away, made arrangents for Gui Ying, and then found a way to set up an appointnt with Bai Hanyun.
