Floating in front of Bai Hanyun, the Yang Mirror calmly replied, "Of course. My soul and my wife’s are connected, so yours and that boy’s are too. You can talk to him through telepathy, or use the old thod if you want to see him."
Hearing this, Bai Hanyun let out a sigh of relief. "I prefer to talk with him using the old thod."
At her answer, the Yang Mirror glowed again. A mont later, it said, "You can talk to him now using the old thod. I have already told my wife."
Bai Hanyun smiled and nodded. "Thank you."
The Yang Mirror yawned, then added, "I’m going to take a nap. When you are done, just put back into your dantian."
As soon as it finished speaking, the mirror gently fell into Bai Hanyun’s hands. After a brief hesitation, she tapped its fra twice.
When the surface cleared, Bai Hanyun softly called out, "Feng Xiyan?"
Far away in the other world, Feng Xiyan was rushing back to Xiqiang City. After traveling for a day and a night, he was covered in dust and looked exhausted.
When he heard Bai Hanyun’s soft voice calling his na, Feng Xiyan frowned and thought, ’I must have been missing her too much that I’m starting to hear things now.’
Thinking this, he shook his head to clear his mind and refocus on the road.
On the other hand, Bai Hanyun waited for a while but received no response from Feng Xiyan.
Looking at the darkness reflected on the surface of the Yang Mirror, Bai Hanyun frowned slightly and muttered, "Is the mirror malfunctioning?"
Just as her words fell, the Yang Mirror’s dissatisfied voice rang out. "You are the one who is malfunctioning. Your whole family is malfunctioning."
Startled by his sudden, angry tone, Bai Hanyun asked, "Didn’t you say you were going to sleep? Why are you awake now?"
The Yang Mirror rolled his eyes at her and said, "Don’t think I can’t hear anything when I’m asleep. I heard you calling a malfunctioning mirror!"
Bai Hanyun rolled her eyes back and retorted, "Isn’t it true? I called Feng Xiyan, but he didn’t answer. And look at your surface. There is nothing but darkness. If you are not malfunctioning, then what is going on here?"
Too sleepy to argue with her, the Yang Mirror simply said, "If he didn’t answer, then keep calling. Do I need to teach you sothing that simple?"
After saying that, the Yang Mirror closed his eyes and blocked his hearing.
’Better not listen to her anymore. Otherwise, she will make die of anger!’
While the Yang Mirror went back to sleep in frustration, Bai Hanyun thought that what he said made sense and decided to try again.
Staring at the darkness on the mirror’s surface, she called softly, "Feng Xiyan, are you there?"
This ti, Feng Xiyan clearly heard Bai Hanyun’s voice. After a mont of hesitation, he replied, "Yun’er?"
Hearing his response, Bai Hanyun let out a sigh of relief and said, "Oh, you finally answered. I thought the Yang Mirror was malfunctioning."
Listening to her voice tinged with a hint of relief and bla, Feng Xiyan smiled helplessly and explained, "I thought I was hallucinating because I missed you too much. That’s why I didn’t answer at first."
When Bai Hanyun heard this, she was stunned. A mont later, a faint pink blush crept onto her cheeks, and she muttered softly, "Smooth talker. I don’t know where he learn all of this nonsense."
Not hearing her quiet complaint, Feng Xiyan asked, "Yun’er, how are things there? Is there sothing you need to do for you?"
Bai Hanyun coughed lightly and replied, "I’m fine here. After Brother Ouyang is discharged from the hospital, Brother Hua and the others will go to Xi Yang City with and Feng Wu."
As she spoke, Bai Hanyun realized she hadn’t inford him of this yet and tentatively said, "Feng Xiyan, I brought Feng Wu with when I left your world without permission. You are not angry, right?"
Feng Xiyan frowned slightly when he heard this and thought, ’No wonder we couldn’t contact Feng Wu. Turns out, he went to another world with Yun’er. I thought I would be the first one she brought ho. Hmph! So envious!’
Although his heart was filled with complaints, Feng Xiyan still spoke gently to Bai Hanyun. "It’s alright. Feng Wu’s top priority right now is protecting you. He did the right thing by following you back. With him around, I will be more at ease and can focus on the matter here."
Bai Hanyun smiled when she heard that. After a brief silence, she asked, "How about you? How long until you reach Xiqiang City? Do you need more supplies for your journey?"
Feng Xiyan’s heart felt warm and soft when he heard her words filled with concern.
With a smile tugging at the corner of his lips, he replied, "I still have plenty of supplies from before. We are already halfway to Xiqiang City. If nothing happens, we should reach the city by tomorrow evening."
Listening to the sound of the wind mixed with his voice, Bai Hanyun knew that he was talking while riding a horse. If he wasn’t careful, he might bite his tongue.
Afraid that she might accidentally cause Feng Xiyan to get injured, Bai Hanyun said, "That’s good. It’s dangerous to talk while riding a horse. Let’s talk again when you have ti."

Rubbing the red mark, Bai Hanyun sighed and thought, ’How nice it would be if we could talk using only our minds.’
