Before Bai Hanyun left, Li Qian quickly reminded her with a smile, "Miss Bai, if you have other antiques for sale in the future, you can contact ."

"Sure."

After saying goodbye to Yu Tianshuo and Li Qin, Bai Hanyun left the Gu Bao Antique Store with the remaining antiques, accompanied by the security guards arranged by Fu Rongchen.

Returning ho, Bai Hanyun put away the remaining antiques in her bedroom, then went to the living room.

Looking at the antique mirror, she tapped its fra twice. A second later, the mirror glowed, and its surface cleared.

Bai Hanyun looked into it and saw Feng Xiyan sitting behind a long table, writing sothing.

She coughed lightly and called, "Feng Xiyan."

The mont her voice echoed in the tent, Feng Xiyan looked at the mirror atop the altar. Placing his writing brush on the brush holder, he walked over.

Clasping his fists, he bowed toward the mirror and asked, "Fairy Bai, Xiyan is here. Do you have instructions for ?"

"Thank you for the treasure you sent today," Bai Hanyun said sincerely.

Feng Xiyan smiled at her words and replied, "That’s the least we can do to repay Fairy Bai’s kindness."

Thinking about the different value systems between their worlds, Bai Hanyun said, "The treasures you gave are very valuable here. Thanks to them, I now have more than enough money to pay for weapons and armor."

She paused briefly, then added, "By now, the food and water I sent you must be running out. I will send more water today. And once the dical supplies arrive this evening, I will send them over too."

Feng Xiyan’s eyes lit up at her words. He quickly clasped his fists and said, "Thank you, Fairy Bai. The food and water you sent before are still enough to last us for half a month."

Hearing this, Bai Hanyun frowned. She thought for a mont and muttered, "That can’t be right. Based on my calculations, the food should only last a few days at most. How can it last half a month?"

Noticing her doubt, Feng Xiyan explained calmly, "We cook the grains into porridge and add vegetables and dried mushrooms. If we ration it carefully, the supplies can last a whole month."

Bai Hanyun was taken aback by his words. After a short mont of silence, she asked in shock, "You only eat porridge?"

"Yes."

Frowning deeper, she said, "Even if you eat porridge three tis a day, the food wouldn’t last a week. How could it last for a whole month?"

Now it was Feng Xiyan’s turn to be surprised. Thinking that she might not be familiar with the laws and living habits of the people of the Yu Empire, he decided to explain it to her.

"Fairy Bai, by law of the Yu Empire, soldiers eat only twice a day—at midmorning and evening. Commoners usually eat once most of the ti, or twice if they have better living conditions. Even the royal family only eats twice a day."

Hearing this, Bai Hanyun suddenly rembered that in ancient tis, agriculture was underdeveloped. With low crop yields and limited knowledge, harvests were poor, which forced people to eat less.

"That won’t do," she said firmly. "How can soldiers fight if they only eat porridge every day?"

After a mont’s thought, she continued, "Feng Xiyan, please instruct the kitchen to prepare stead rice, one at dish, one vegetable dish, a bowl of soup, and occasionally so fruit for the soldiers’ al. This should be served for breakfast and lunch."

She thought for a second before adding, "For supper, let the kitchen make sothing lighter using the sa combination. Don’t worry about running out of food. I will keep supplying it. As for water, I will send it to you every night."

Feng Xiyan was stunned by her words. Clenching his hands, he thought, ’Stead rice instead of porridge? Such luxury... Can we really eat like that? How much money is needed to provide such als to us?’

Seeing him silent, Bai Hanyun asked, "Feng Xiyan, why are you so quiet? What are you thinking?"

Snapping out of his thoughts, he answered, "Fairy Bai, even before the drought, military rations consisted of coarse grains mixed with stones, or wheat bran cakes with so dried vegetables."

"There would be at occasionally, but we only had broth once every few days, or even just once every half-month. Even porridge was usually thin. It’s really unheard of for soldiers to eat stead rice with at, vegetables, and broth for every al."

Bai Hanyun was shocked by how poor their food quality was and asked, "You have never eaten stead rice?"

Feng Xiyan shook his head and explained, "It’s too extravagant. Even nobles in the imperial capital city can’t eat stead white rice daily. At best, they only get it during imperial banquets to welco foreign envoys."

"Not to ntion that stead rice can only be eaten at an imperial banquet. The highest quality rice we have has much lower quality than the rice you gave us. Our rice is smaller in size with different shapes, brown in color, and tastes a bit bitter."

After listening to Feng Xiyan’s explanation, Bai Hanyun fell silent, realizing just how vast the gap between their worlds truly was. In terms of food and clothing alone, she lived far more comfortably than he ever had.

Looking at Feng Xiyan’s thin face, Bai Hanyun felt a pang of pity in her heart. ’How could they survive under such harsh living conditions? Since fate has brought us together, I will help them survive the war and live a better life.’

Making a decision, Bai Hanyun said, "Feng Xiyan, just follow my instructions. I just sold the huanghuali boxes you gave . The money is enough to feed everyone for years."

Bai Hanyun rembered that she had disturbed Feng Xiyan when he was working and said, "That is for now. I will contact you later."

"Yes, Fairy Bai," Feng Xiyan said, clasping his fists.

After ending the communication, Bai Hanyun picked up the antique mirror and her car key, then left her house in a hurry.
