Holding the jade pendant that had now turned red, Gui Ying tapped it lightly. A second later, a golden light shot out of the jade pendant.
Looking at the image that appeared in the air in front of him, Gui Ying raised his brows slightly and asked, "Feng Xiyan, you already woke up?"
When Feng Xiyan heard this, he asked back, "You knew that Yun’er and I had fainted?"
Gui Ying glanced at the two bronze mirrors placed in the spiritual hot spring, then nodded. "Yes."
Noticing that he was looking at sothing before answering his question, Feng Xiyan asked further, "Do you know what happened to the Yang Mirror and the Yin Mirror?"
Questioned by him, Gui Ying knew that Feng Xiyan and Bai Hanyun might have already guessed that sothing had happened to their mirrors.
Gui Ying waved his hand, and the projection changed direction—facing the two bronze mirrors soaking inside the spiritual hot spring.
When Feng Xiyan saw this, his expression sank.
Watching the projection through the phone screen, Bai Hanyun clenched her hands so tightly that her fingers turned white.
Suppressing her worry and anger, Bai Hanyun asked, "What happened to the two of them? Why did they turn back into their original forms?"
Gui Ying’s expression changed when he heard the question.
After a brief mont of silence, he looked at the reflection and said, "The Yang Mirror was severely injured, and the Yin Mirror was slightly injured. This young master has already given them ergency treatnt, so they are out of danger for now. The Yin Mirror should be able to wake up in a while."
Just when he finished speaking, the Yin Mirror lit up and was shrouded in golden light. A few seconds later, she turned into her human form.
Witnessing this, Bai Hanyun let out a sigh of relief.
Opening her eyes, the Yin Mirror glanced around and saw Gui Ying there. Walking out of the spiritual hot spring, she waved her hand. In an instant, her wet clothes dried.
Bowing to Feng Xiyan through the reflection, the Yin Mirror said, "Master, Fairy Bai."
After greeting Feng Xiyan and Bai Hanyun, she turned to Gui Ying and bowed to him. "Thank you, Young Master, for saving my husband and ."
Gui Ying nodded, then said, "It’s good that you have recovered. However, your soul is still injured and needs nourishnt. You should return to your master."
Hearing this, the Yin Mirror glanced at the Yang Mirror, who was lying on the platform in the spiritual hot spring in his mirror form.
Noticing her gaze, Gui Ying added, "Don’t worry about him. This young master will help him recover as soon as possible."
Receiving his assurance, the Yin Mirror curtsied to Gui Ying and sincerely said, "Then I will leave my husband in your care, Young Master."
Gui Ying yawned, then waved at her tiredly. "Mhm, go now. This young master wants to rest."
"Yes." After saying that, the Yin Mirror turned into golden particles and disappeared.
A second later, she appeared before Feng Xiyan.
Seeing this through the reflection, Gui Ying yawned once more and said, "If there is nothing else, then this young master will go to sleep first. Contact if you need sothing."
Feng Xiyan nodded. "Mhm."
Gui Ying then waved his hand, and the reflection disappeared. The mont he ended the connection, the jade pendant returned to its original pearly-white color.
Storing it back into his spatial ring, Gui Ying left the spiritual hot spring and returned to his bedroom to rest and recover his spiritual energy.
anwhile, in the Feng Army’s temporary camp, Bai Hanyun looked at the Yin Mirror through her phone and asked, "Yin Mirror, how are you now?"
Smiling gently at her, the Yin Mirror softly replied, "Thank you for your concern, Fairy Bai. My injury has almost recovered."
After saying that, she turned to Feng Xiyan and added, "Master, I’m sorry for implicating you because of my selfish intention."
Knowing what she ant, Feng Xiyan shook his head. "It was right for you to go and save the Yang Mirror. If sothing happened to him, the one who would suffer is Yun’er, and I don’t want that to happen."
Seeing that the Yin Mirror’s complexion was still pale, he continued, "You should return to my dantian and tend to your injuries now."
Bowing to him once more, the Yin Mirror responded, "Yes, Master. Then I will take my leave."
"Mhm, go then."
Receiving his permission, the Yin Mirror turned into a golden light and disappeared into the red mark on his wrist.
After the Yin Mirror disappeared, Feng Xiyan looked at Feng Wu and handed the jade pendant back to him.
"Feng Wu, thank you for lending us the jade pendant."
Feng Wu accepted it with both hands and said, "It is this subordinate’s honor to be able to serve you, Master."
Feng Xiyan smiled slightly, then took out more than twenty cups of bubble milk tea and a dozen packs of spicy strips from his Qiankun Pouch.
