The crowds hugged their family and friends as they exclaid in disbelief and joy.
"Six thousand jin! It’s six thousand jin!"
"Heavens! The sweet potato truly is a spiritual plant!"
"This is the first ti I have seen one mu of farmland produce six thousand jin of crops!"
"Even after paying tax, my family would have enough food for two years!"
While the crowd celebrated, the civil official responsible for recording the farming results and tax paynts quickly announced, "After settling the tax paynts, the farrs may take their harvest ho! As for the contracted farrs, they may take five percent of the total harvest as a bonus!"
When the farrs heard this, they all knelt on the ground and kowtowed deeply.
"Thank you, Fairy Bai, for your blessing! Thank you, Great General Feng, for your benevolence! Thank you, the Feng Army, for the protection!"
At that mont, sothing incredible happened.
Bai Hanyun, who was sitting on the picnic mat, suddenly widened her eyes. Looking at the familiar golden lights shooting out from the common people’s bodies, she sprang to her feet.
"This—! This is a rit!"
Hua Yuyu and the others looked at her as though she had lost her mind, but none of them dared to say a word.
Bai Hanyun took a few steps forward, trying to get a closer look at the golden lights.
As she observed from a distance, the golden lights gathered in the sky, growing brighter and larger by the second.
Just when the golden light had beco a golden sphere large enough to cover the entire Xiqiang City and its surroundings, Bai Hanyun suddenly felt heat surging in her dantian.
Whoosh!
Before she could react, a golden light shot out from the red mirror-shaped mark on her wrist and flew straight toward the giant golden sphere floating in the sky.
The mont the golden light ca into contact with the giant sphere, it instantly shrank and disappeared.
A split second later, only a single golden light remained floating in the air.
Bai Hanyun narrowed her eyes against the bright golden light and realized that besides her, nobody could see it floating in the sky.
"This..."
Before Bai Hanyun could speak, the golden light exploded.
Boom!
Bai Hanyun closed her eyes, then waited a few seconds before looking up again. The mont she saw the man floating in the air, her eyes widened in joy.
"Yang Mirror!"
This ti, not only Bai Hanyun, but Hua Yuyu and the others saw him as well.
Floating in the air, Yang Mirror slowly opened his eyes. Sensing the familiar aura, he scanned the area and saw Bai Hanyun. A second later, he disappeared from the air and reappeared before her.
Bai Hanyun looked at Yang Mirror’s handso yet expressionless face and carefully asked, "Yang Mirror, do you know who I am?"
Yang Mirror stared at her for a long mont before slowly nodding.
Standing behind her, Bao Shengjie grabbed his hair and exclaid worriedly, "Oh no! The Yang Mirror has beco stupid!"
The mont his words fell, emotion slowly returned to Yang Mirror’s eyes.
Three seconds later, he suddenly glared at Bao Shengjie. "You, brat! Who are you calling stupid?!"
"Heavens!" His sudden outburst almost scared Bao Shengjie to death. Patting his chest, Bao Shengjie glared back at Yang Mirror. "Are you trying to scare to death? Can’t you speak more gently?"
Seeing Yang Mirror roll his eyes at Bao Shengjie, Bai Hanyun suddenly laughed and hugged him.
"Yang Mirror! I’m so happy that you have finally woken up!"
Being hugged by her, Yang Mirror didn’t know where to place his hands.
He looked at Bai Hanyun, who was laughing while hugging his waist, for a mont before awkwardly scratching the bridge of his nose and muttering, "It’s not like you will never see again. Even if I die, I would just revert to my original form."
Hearing this, Bai Hanyun raised her head and glared at him. "Don’t talk nonsense! If you die, your wife and I will be sad. Do you want to see Yin Mirror cry until she goes blind?"
When he heard this, Yang Mirror quickly shook his head like a rattling drum. "No!"
Bai Hanyun grinned at him, then patted his back and said, "That’s right. You must stay alive to protect your wife."
After saying that, Bai Hanyun let him go and smiled. "Welco back, Yang Mirror."
Yang Mirror was stunned when he heard her sincere welco. Coming back to his senses, he chuckled and hugged Bai Hanyun.
"I’m back, Master."
Bai Hanyun was surprised to hear him call her Master for the first ti, but she quickly recovered. Patting Yang Mirror’s back, she laughed happily.
While the two of them were hugging, a cold, murderous aura suddenly ca from behind them, followed by a suppressed, angry voice.
"What are you two doing?"
Startled by the angry voice, Bai Hanyun quickly let go of Yang Mirror. Peeking out from Yang Mirror’s body, she saw Feng Xiyan staring at them with a dark expression.
Letting go of the Yang Mirror, Bai Hanyun walked up to Feng Xiyan and excitedly said, "Xiyan, look! Yang Mirror is finally awake!"
Feng Xiyan looked at her innocent smiling face for a mont before turning to Yang Mirror, who was innocently grinning at him.
After a brief mont of silence, Feng Xiyan let out a helpless sigh and asked, "How is your condition now, Yang Mirror?"
"I’m perfectly fine," Yang Mirror replied with a smile.
Seeing that he was still the sa as usual, Feng Xiyan thought for a mont before asking, "Can you use your ability now?"
Yang Mirror nodded. "Yes. I can use my ability as usual."
He paused for a second before adding, "Not only that, my cultivation level is still rising right now."
Looking up at the sky, he said thoughtfully, "This world is now filled with celestial energy. I don’t think it will take long before I regain my original cultivation level."
Hearing this, Bai Hanyun suggested, "Yang Mirror, why don’t you try to open the space and ti portal now?"
