Bowing his head, Feng Wu replied to Feng Xiyan, "Reporting to Master. Fairy Bai wishes to send seeds to you and asks this subordinate to inform you."
At those words, Feng Xiyan’s eyes flickered with delight. He turned to the lieutenant in charge of training and said, "This general has other matters to attend to. You take over the training."
The lieutenant clasped his fists and replied, "Yes, Great General."
With the order given, Feng Xiyan activated his lightness skill and left the training ground with Feng Wu in a hurry.
Walking into his tent, Feng Xiyan’s gaze fell on the bronze mirror. Seeing that it was shrouded in a dim golden light, he quickly walked up to the altar.
Clasping his fists, he said, "Xiyan greets Fairy Bai."
When Bai Hanyun heard his voice, she looked into the antique mirror.
Seeing that Feng Wu and Feng Xiyan had returned, she said, "Good morning, Feng Xiyan. I bought the sweet potato slips for you. Do you have a place to store them?"
"Xiyan has prepared a warehouse to store the seeds. Fairy Bai, please wait a mont while I bring the mirror to the warehouse," Feng Xiyan replied.
"Alright."
With that, Feng Xiyan grabbed the bronze mirror and headed to the warehouse, followed by Feng Wu.
Just as he stepped out of the tent, Feng Xiyan noticed Feng Wu still trailing behind and said, "Feng Wu, you may return to your post."
Upon hearing this, Feng Wu glanced at the bronze mirror with disappointnt and clasped his fists. "Yes, Master."
After Feng Wu left reluctantly, Feng Xiyan continued toward the warehouse. Before long, he arrived.
Seeing him approach, the soldiers guarding the entrance clasped their fists and greeted him. "This subordinate greets the Great General."
Feng Xiyan nodded at them and stepped inside.
Standing in the warehouse, he looked at the bronze mirror and said, "Fairy Bai, you may send the seeds over now."
Through the antique mirror, Bai Hanyun saw that the warehouse was empty and guessed that Feng Xiyan might have built more warehouses to store the supplies.
Since they had prepared the warehouse for storage, Bai Hanyun replied, "Alright."
With that, she sent over the bags of sweet potato slips and the instructions.
As the bags disappeared from her warehouse, Bai Hanyun said, "Feng Xiyan, I have also sent instructions on how to plant the sweet potatoes, as well as how to prepare the soil and water requirents. You can follow them and see if sweet potatoes can grow in your world."
Just as she said this, Feng Xiyan noticed a stack of papers on top of one of the bags and picked them up. The mont he saw the lifelike illustrations, he was stunned.
He carefully stroked the picture and thought, ’Did Fairy Bai paint these herself? The drawings are so life-like and vibrant. Fairy Bai isn’t just kind and resourceful. She is also incredibly talented.’
Pausing for a second, his eyes flickered as another thought flashed in his mind. ’And this paper... It’s so smooth and white. The things used in Heaven are truly beyond mortal comprehension.’
Unaware that Feng Xiyan had just put another grand title on her head, Bai Hanyun added, "If there is anything you don’t understand, feel free to ask . I will do my best to help you."
After she said that, Feng Xiyan carefully put the instructions away and replied, "Thank you, Fairy Bai. Xiyan understands."
Now that she had sent the seeds over, Bai Hanyun said, "Then I will take my leave for now. See you later, Feng Xiyan."
Without waiting for his response, she ended the connection and left the warehouse.
After locking the door, Bai Hanyun got into the car and said, "Brother Hua, please take to the new land I bought a few days ago."
Hua Yuyu nodded and started the engine.
While they were on the road, Feng Xiyan looked at the bronze mirror and thought, ’Fairy Bai said she would see again later. Could it be that... she has been watching this whole ti?’
