Then.

Chen Lusi felt soone beside him.

The girl’s pale arm gripping the knife hilt in front of him, capillaries gradually visible, her skin as if transparent.

She gripped the knife hilt tightly, then slowly raised the knife.

"——Thank you."

Her red lips parted slightly, she finally spoke.

A gentle, ethereal voice ca through.

Chen Lusi opened his mouth, wanting to speak.

But there was no chance anymore.

A cold gleam flashed briefly.

The girl’s waist-length hair danced in the rain, the thin, strange long knife slicing through the retreating rain, falling onto Chen Lusi.

When Chen Lusi realized it.

He only saw the girl lean forward, the long knife in her hand constantly dripping blood droplets.

He slowly lowered his head, glanced at his chest.

The next mont, blood suddenly gushed out.

Spraying madly forward.

Chen Lusi felt the whole world spinning, staggering back a step, then directly falling backward.

Splash.

A huge, beautiful splash rose, then turned into retreating raindrops in mid-air.

Chen Lusi lay in the accumulated water, watching the retreating raindrops, panting frantically from the intense pain.

His vision began to blur.

The girl ca to his side, then a wheelchair, a man with a clock on his head, a shadow of unknown ghostly form.

They silently watched the lying Chen Lusi, as if it were so kind of farewell ceremony.

But Chen Lusi’s vision grew blurrier, it beca harder to see them clearly.

It seems... he’s really going to die.

What a comic-like way to die.

So what is this? Really ghosts? No, it should be so kind of superpower in action?

But whom have I provoked...

To hell with the riddler.

Forget it, about to die anyway...

Thinking about it, it’s actually pretty good.

This should feel like falling asleep.

Nothing to lose.

At least no longer worry about insomnia.

Regrets... seem to have none either.

Perhaps those two sisters might be quite sad... but not necessarily, if truly sad, apologize through a dream.

There’s nothing that can be done.

After all, in life, unexpected things happen.

This is called a vivid lesson.

By the way, it really hurts...

And my eyelids are so heavy...

The blood gradually dispersed in the accumulated water.

Chen Lusi’s rapid breathing gradually slowed, the vision further blurred, almost unable to see anything.

The eyelids beca increasingly heavy.

He finally forced his eyelids open, glanced at the four weirdos surrounding him.

It was as if they knew he didn’t have much ti left.

The four weirdos dissipated one by one under his gaze.

Wheelchair, clock, shadow...

Finally, only the girl remained.

She wasn’t in a hurry to leave, instead she raised the knife in her hand again, aiming the tip at Chen Lusi’s eyes.

Adding insult to injury...

Chen Lusi painfully averted his gaze, looking toward the sky still shrouded in thick clouds, a slight smile appearing on his withered, pale face.

But the anticipated finishing blow never ca.

Instead, the thick cloud cover above his head slowly dispersed, revealing a gap.

A ray of sunlight seeped through the gap in the clouds, suddenly spilling down.

Falling onto Chen Lusi’s face.

Like a slit in a pitch-black prison cell was opened.

Chen Lusi gazed at the dazzling sunlight, a look of relief appearing on his face, he slowly closed his eyes.

...

"Hope I’m not too late... this does seem a bit exaggerated."

Two kiloters away, a mid-range sedan pulled over.

The car door opened.

A tall man stepped out, looked at the cloud-covered area in the distance, scratched his head, and said helplessly: "This will be a lot of work again, hope it doesn’t co to the point of needing backup."

Then.

He rubbed his shoulder, stretched a bit, and was about to walk forward.

But the clouds in the distance suddenly began to visibly disperse.

"Hmm? Already found the host?"

The man paused, stopped in his tracks, then reached out with interest and rubbed his chin.
