Looks and words that caught my attention
“It is sothing we’ll have to discuss with Ms. Helena… And it might be a little expensive.”
“Does it require sothing special?”
“You could say that. When we return to the mansion, I will talk to her.”
“Very well. Since the dishes you suggest are usually good, I will look forward to it!”
“Uh…there is no guarantee that it will work well..”
As you used soy sauce, we would not be able to make a lot of it. And it may not taste too great either.
Regardless, we then continued to enjoy our lunch ti.
And after having so tea, we headed to the slums…
Once we were away from the noises of the town, the atmosphere changed.
Last ti I was here, it was night ti and raining. Also, I was too distracted to really look around.
“Wuff-wuff.”
“It must be nice to be you, Leo. No matter what you encounter, you’re safe.”
“Tilura, Liza. You must not get down from Leo, do you understand?”
“Yes, sister Claire.”
“Yes!”
Leo walked casually, as if she didn’t notice this atmosphere. Where it seed like anyone could jump out of the shadows of the buildings.
On the other side, Ms. Johanna walked with Claire, who spoke to the two riding on top of Leo.
As they would be safe there, we decided to move this way.
“So this is the Ractos slums…”
“What do you think, Aloysius?”
“It is different from the one I was in. Much brighter. Also, I do not see starving people on the streets.”
“…”
It must have been a very terrible environnt.
Even now, we passed people who wore dirty clothes. But apparently, this place looked cheerful in comparison to what Aloysius knew.
“Anyway…I feel like people are staring… Also, they are saying sothing…”
“You hear it too, Mr. Takumi?”
“Wuff?”
As Claire and Leo stood out, I knew this would happen. People were quick to move out of the way when Leo walked down the street.
However, I thought I heard the sa word said a number of tis.
“Are they looking at Tilura…?”
“I think so. Or maybe it is Liza.”
It was possible, but it did seem like their eyes were fixed on Tilura. Even though Liza would have stuck out more as a beastkin.
“…It’s strange. If anything, Tilura seems like she would stick out the least in this group. That is, aside from and Aloysius.”
Liza’s ears and tail were not even hidden… But then again, many people in Ractos already knew about her.
Claire was a beautiful, high-born woman that attracted attention.
And Leo was so big…
While Tilura was wearing a hat with ears, that was not enough for her to stick out.
“We really are…drawing attention…hah…”
Phillip was about to raise his voice in protest, but Johanna tapped him on the shoulder, and so he just sighed.
