I treated the aftereffects of the injuries
“Please excuse then. Don’t worry it will be over quickly.”
“Ye-yes…”
“And you as well. It will not be painful. But please don’t move.”
“I-I understand…”
And so Jane and Winfield applied the jelly to Mr. Galgrio and Ms. Lianea’s scars.
As there was a lot of surface to cover, they did it slowly and little by little…
“Huh…impossible…!”
“The scar!?”
“Is-is this Loe, Mr. Takumi?”
“No, Mr. Peter. It is a herb I made with my Gift, Weed Cultivation.”
Mr. Galgrio and Ms. Lianea were astonished to see their scars disappear cleanly without a trace.
I had told Mr. Peter about Weed Cultivation before, but this was his first ti seeing it.
“This herb is similar to Loe. And I made it by accident.”
I would not have made it if I wasn’t thinking about healing Fel’s leg.
Well, I might have thought of it anyway after looking at Mr. Galgrio and Ms. Lianea.
But then again, I might not have thought of hiring them as well.
After all, it would be difficult for them to work in the fields with those arms and legs.
And while they hadn’t been driven out of their villages or anything, they had wanted to find work that they could do.
Up until then, they had been able to do simple work that didn’t require much movent.
At first, I wondered if they could help with concocting the dicine. But that was also very tiring work. It was then that I started to think about using the Loe-like herb.
Well, it was actually Walter who made the suggestion, after I had told him about it…
And so I then discussed the matter with Alfred and the others, and decided to hire the two for a demonstration. If they agreed and were healed, they could then work in the fields.
Winfield said they would be loyal workers if I healed them…which was a rather calculating thing to say.
Regardless, I would have to tell them all about Weed Cultivation eventually, so it seed like a good opportunity.
“…It looks good now. Can you move?”
“We finished over here as well. Now, please try and stand up.”
“Ye-yes… Ah, I can move. And there is no pain! And no scars…”
“ too…my leg moves. And I can stand up without it hurting!”
“That’s wonderful. There are no after effects then.”
The experint was a success.
And both of them were incredibly happy to be able to move again.
The spectators all looked impressed and even…a little emotional.
Ms. Delia wiped away a tear, and Ms. Lianea was also teary eyed.
“Thank you… Thank you so much! Mr. Takumi! I will repay this debt…!”
“I just wanted a job…but now my leg is healed… I don’t know what to say!”
“Haha. Now you can both work without issue.”
While I felt that their reactions were a little overblown and unnecessary, I decided it would be best to act like an employer while everyone was watching, and so I maintained my composure.
Though, I couldn’t help but chuckle a little…
