There were still more introductions to be made
Ms. Delia and so of the others had already t Leo, so they were not nervous. But it was no surprise that first-tirs would be.
Alfred and the servants had been extrely nervous at first.
Well, I just hoped it would not take them long to get used to it.
“Phew… We managed to get through it. The first half, that is.”
“Good work, Mr. Takumi.”
“Papa!”
“Oh, Liza. You did well with your introduction.”
I let out a sigh as I watched everyone leave the large eting room.
And then Liza left Ms. Lyra and rushed towards .
“No…I made a mistake.”
“Haha? When you stuttered a little? But I think it helped to break the ice. So it was a good thing.”
“Hmm…”
She did not look very convinced by this.
“Hehe. I think that little Liza wanted to look more impressive in front of everyone.”
“Ah, of course. But don’t worry, Liza. You just aren’t used to it now. It wasn’t a failure. In any case, we should take a short break and then take the others to see Leo. Besides, she is probably tired of waiting at Mr. Kalis’s store.”
“Let’s go see mama!”
“Well, if she is there, then maybe she is playing with the children. Also, Mr. Takumi. There is still sothing left for you to do.”
“Huh…?”
Claire looked at mischievously as I was drinking tea and relaxing.
What was it?
“After this, we are going to et the people that I am hiring.”
“Mr. Takumi. You will be managing this business together. And so you must et with Lady Claire’s employees as well.”
“Ah…that’s right…”
I had heard sothing about that before, but had assud it would be on a different day.
However, it would be a hassle to co out to Ractos again. Especially since we were formally dressed and everything.
And so it was decided that after the break, we would et with the people that Claire was going to hire.
There was the sa salutes to the flag and introductions, and then Claire and Ms. Hermine handled the rest.
In general, the people Claire was hiring were people who would be transporting the herbs to different towns and villages and selling them. So would also be sent to various stores and negotiate with them.
There were slightly fewer people than the first eting…but it was still more than I had expected.
Also, while I was hiring a higher percentage of n, Claire was hiring a higher percentage of won.
So with everyone put together, it would probably be an equal number.
As I sat and watched the proceedings, I realized that they did not talk about Weed Cultivation.
Apparently, it was because these people would not be seeing the fields very often.
“Still, that was a surprise…”
“Hehe. I kept it a secret in order to surprise you, Mr. Takumi.”
“It was a success, Lady Claire.”
“Huh?”
Once it was finished, and everyone had left, Claire and Sebastian ca clean.
“I also did not expect to see Ms. Eralda.”
“Yes, I was a little surprised when she applied.”
“Ms. Eralda looks up to Lady Claire a lot. Apparently, she would often catch sight of her during visits to Ractos.”
“So she took this opportunity then.”
Ms. Eralda was the first woman to approach when Leo and I visited Ractos for the first ti.
In so ways, it was because of her that I was able to introduce Leo to the people in the town…
