“Yes. …And this is Sherry. A fenrir cub who is also my familiar.”

I was quite sure I had ntioned her na before, but perhaps he did not rember.
Unless it was a different kid… Or perhaps he had been so angry that he wasn’t listening to anything else.
Also, I really was not old enough to be addressed like that…

For a second, his face had turned red as he looked.

Well, kids could rarely be honest at that age. He did not know what to do, and ended up just playing tricks that made girls dislike him.

I petted Leo and explained the situation to her while pointing at the boy.
Leo had rembered what happened last ti, and nodded knowingly.

“…Cut it out with the ‘old man.’”
It was partially a punishnt for the insult as well.
…Of course, I was mostly joking… But I also felt it was my duty to test if he was worthy!
I found a stick that had been lying around…which was strange. But it seed like there used to be a building here, and so materials had been left.
After making sure that it was safe to use, I handed it over to the boy.
It was probably a little too big for him, but it was still lighter than a real sword. And there was no sharp blade, so no one would get hurt.
Besides, even if there was an accident, I would be responsible and make so Loe imdiately…
