As it was too troubleso, I resorted to the last thod
“Hah… It seems like there is no point in talking to this person.”
“Indeed. Sherry, it’s fine. Will you calm down?”

“Hey, Volgrau! Are you going to disobey !”
“Bow…”
Sebastian sighed and shook his head.
I nodded and petted Sherry.
While Deurgo continued to shout, Volgrau shook his head.
Deurgo seed to have misunderstood sothing. A familiar contract did not an they had to obey your commands.
All it did was allow you to communicate, and it forbade them from attacking their master.
Of course, it did seem like they would obey most orders. But they did not have to if they did not want to.
“Old man…”
“Nevermind that. There is no need to hide at this point, Mr. Takumi.”
Sebastian returned to his usual voice.
He would not try to negotiate with Deurgo anymore, so there was no point in us pretending to be related.
“Well, you’re right. In any case, please have the guards take Deurgo outside. I’m going to go and talk to Leo first.”
I had wanted to avoid asking Leo, but it could not be helped.
“Indeed. There seems to be no other way than to rely on Leo. I will leave it to you then.”

And so I left Sebastian and headed to the door with a sigh.

Deurgo only cared about using Volgrau as an object that would benefit him.
And after all of the damage, it was impossible to not be angry.

In fact, for just a second, I had considered punching Deurgo in the face after disarming him.

After leaving the guard house, Leo imdiately ran up to and lay on her back.

I rubbed her belly while explaining it to her.
Apparently, she had sensed that I was upset.
When I looked around, I saw that Nicholas, Ms. Hermine and Alfred also looked confused.
“Now, Leo. You’ll get dirty if you roll around like that here. Unless…you want to take a bath?”
“Wou!? Wuff!”
“Haha. We don’t use hot water anymore, but you still don’t like it, huh?”
When she heard the word ‘bath,’ Leo jumped up in alarm and then landed on her feet after rotating in the air.
I had seen her do that a few tis before, but it was still impressive…
