“Hah…”
“Claire. What was that…?”
“Tilura might have a little too much of it. Even more than . So that even ordinary magic tools shine bright like that… Isabelle you should probably inspect it?”
“Lady Claire? Ah…there is a crack…”
When Ms. Isabelle looked at the crystal sphere, she saw that there were cracks, starting in the middle and spreading out.
It looked like the whole thing would shatter at any mont.
“…Did I…break another one?”
Tilura asked sadly.
Apparently, this had happened before…
“Another one?”
“Yes… The last ti, it broke completely.”
So it was even worse…
I suppose it didn’t break completely this ti, because Ms. Isabelle stopped her.
“Oh…I’m so sorry…”
“…This is useless now. But don’t worry, Lady Tilura. I have a store, after all. So there are plenty of replacents!”
“Isabelle. We will pay for the destroyed sphere. Besides, it was my fault for not saying sothing in advance. Um…perhaps you could prepare one that is at least twice as large?”
“Well…I do have various sizes. But Lady Claire, such large crystal balls are not used with humans.”
“It’s fine. A smaller one will not be enough to asure Tilura’s energy. Though, our purpose is to check if she has the Gift… But we can’t do that when we are being blinded and balls are breaking everywhere, can we?”
“That is true… Very well, I will do as you say. Please wait one mont…”
So saying, Ms. Isabelle went off to the room in the back of the store.
“Not used for humans… I had heard about it. But this exceeds my expectations.”
“You didn’t know, Sebastian?”
“I have not always been working in this villa with Lady Tilura and Lady Claire. And back at the main house, I had other responsibilities.”
Now that I thought about it, I had assud that he was always with them since they were young. But apparently, it was only after they ca to this house. Ȓä₦ŐʙÈṩ
Well, there were likely many more servants at the main house, and so there would be others who worked closely with them.
“I was with Tilura the last ti she was checked, and so I knew… But I had forgotten about it for a mont. It was several years ago, you know? Besides, after sensing Leo’s power, Tilura’s and mine did not seem so big.”
“Well, Leo is quite special…”
“Sorry to keep you waiting, Lady Tilura. Here it is.”
Ms. Isabelle then returned with a much larger crystal ball.
It almost seed too big. Ms. Isabelle could barely hold it with both hands.
The first one had been a little smaller than a person’s head. But this one was over one ter in diater.
“I’m so sorry for breaking it…”
“It’s fine. Everything breaks eventually. Even magical tools.”
“It cannot be helped. I shall discuss the matter with Isabelle later.”
Sebastian said with a sigh.
He was talking about compensation. Well, it was probably expensive, so it could not be helped.
“How much do they cost…?”
“Mr. Takumi. I do not know how much that one cost exactly. But the good ones are usually around…”
“What!”
Claire whispered it into my ear.
I could not help but be alard. They could go up to as much as ten in gold.
That was millions in yen…
You really could not underestimate these glowing balls…
