Everyone thought about it seriously
About an hour passed after we started talking.
There were many helpful suggestions, but everyone was not in agreent.
“I didn’t think opinions would be split this much…”
While there were so exceptions, the divide generally seed to be between n and won.
Most of the n thought I should give her a present and express my gratitude.
Instead of just words, I should have sothing with a physical shape.
But many of the won said that while a present was nice, honesty was the most important. They thought a present could be distracting.
“I do understand both sides…”
“They all have you and Lady Claire’s best interests in mind. And I don’t think they are wrong.”
“Well…there is one thing I do know. That Phillip, Jane and Chita should be ignored.”
“In-indeed. Phillip is one thing, but to think that Jane would say such a thing…”
“I wonder how she ever married Alfred… Yes, Phillip should be ignored. That would be tyranny.”
Those three had different opinions from the others. And so theirs were the first to be rejected.
Ms. Chita said I should surround myself and Claire with Leo and the fenrirs. And if we stayed buried in the fur all night…then she would truly understand my feelings towards her.
As for Jane, she was suggesting that I find so n to fight a duel with. And when I won, I could declare my feelings for Claire…
I had no idea where these n would co from. And I had no idea if Claire appreciated the idea of people fighting for her. Regardless, it was clearly Jane’s personal preference.
Alfred was holding his head as if it hurt, which was amusing. Regardless, the other won were quick to reject this idea as well.
However, Phillip was the worst. He said that I should lean towards Claire against the wall, and while looking into her eyes, pour serpent wine into her mouth from my own…
Now, so of the won didn’t mind the idea of being up against a wall. But he lost them with the second part.
“Um… I have a bad feeling that this might lead to further argunts between the two sides. And so…”
In order to prevent things from getting too heated, I made a suggestion.
I asked them to think about it with the positions reversed.
In other words, if it was a woman who was telling the man her feelings.
So of them said the confession should co while looking at a beautiful view.
While looking at flowers or a sunset… And expressing your feelings as if it was part of the natural flow.
Also, so of the won now suggested presents. Sothing they made. Maybe food or flowers. The n suggested accessories.
“The fact that it is suggested from both sides ans presents must be quite effective.”
“Well, it’s a classic thod for a reason. I also gave Jane many presents…”
“Even if it’s not sothing as serious as this, everyone likes to receive gifts along with words of gratitude.”
While there had been people who said it would be distracting, it seed like it was a good idea after all.
Alfred now had a far away look in his eyes as he talked.
Regardless, Ms. Lyra was right. Presents were effective, even when it wasn’t related to romance…
