I received a haircut
“How is it?”
“Yes, I feel refreshed. Thank you, Ms. Lyra.”
On the following day, I decided to have Ms. Lyra give a haircut in the garden. It seed like a good way to commorate…what I was about to do.
Ms. Lyra was very skilled, and would often cut the hair of the other servants, and so she happily agreed.
I had let it grow all of this ti, and so it was getting in the way. And since we would be moving to a new environnt, I wanted a change.
“Please take a look, Mr. Takumi.”
“Thank you.”
Mrs. Jane handed a mirror. And so I stood up from the chair and looked at my hair from different angles.
It was now shorter than it was when I first ca to this world. Still, it was not a big difference. And I had no strong preferences when it ca to it.
“What do you think, Lady Liza?”
“I think it’s a little shorter!”
While I was looking in the mirror, Ms. Lyra did so quick trimming on Liza as well. Though, it was really just evening out the tips. Apparently, she wanted to grow her hair out long like Claire.
“Ah, Mr. Takumi. That haircut looks very nice.”
“Claire. Thank you. It’s a good thing Ms. Lyra knows how to cut hair.”
“No, not at all…”
“Oh… Mr. Takumi, I didn’t recognize you for a second…”
Claire and Tilura ca out into the garden as well.
They must have had so free ti.
“Sister Claire! Sister Tilura! Look! I got my hair cut too!”
“Hehe, it looks very cute, Liza.”
“Uh…is it shorter?”
“Hmph! Look closer! It’s completely different!”
As I watched them and smiled, Claire suddenly reached out her hand and brushed sothing off of my shoulder.
I suppose there had been so hair left.
Normally, I would have thanked her imdiately and that would be the end of it…
“Mr. Takumi?”
“Ah, um…uh…”
I stumbled on my words once and was not able to recover.
As she looked at with a puzzled expression, I felt my face grow hot.
She seed more beautiful than usual today.
“…Lady Claire. How are the preparations going?”
“They are going well. I’ve been talking with Hermine…she always helps a lot.”
As I wondered what to say, Ms. Lyra ca in and distracted Claire.
I sighed with relief and thanked her with my eyes, and she nodded back.
The fenrirs were watching us oddly, and I saw Leo sighing with exasperation again, just like last night.
Liza was too busy talking about her hair to notice anything.
As for Mrs. Jane…she was covering her nose and mouth. What was the matter?
There was sothing red seeping from between her fingers… Was her nose bleeding?
However, she had the expression of soone who was seeing sothing precious.
What a mystery…
