Leo clearly did not understand what I ant.
Running on two legs was different already.
Though…not that I thought about it, Ms. Delia could run both ways. Beastkin really seed to have the best of both worlds.
It wasn’t really fair.
“I want to run like that too!”
“Liza…you’re already really fast. Though, perhaps you don’t have the stamina to run that long.”
Liza suddenly seed to be interested in long distance running.
When it ca to short distances, she was already faster than .
Though, it seed to be because of beastkin magic. Even if she was unaware that she was using it.
“Being a human sounds so troubleso. Flying is much better…”
“Oh. Well, that’s true… Being able to fly like fairies does seem rather nice. But there is no use in thinking about what can’t be done.”
Farinette suddenly poked her head out of Leo’s fur and looked at with exasperation.
As an adult, I had stopped dreaming about being able to fly.
While I had ridden on planes as an adult, when I was a child, I wanted to fly with a propeller on my head.
“Wuff, wuff-wuff.”
“That’s just for you and the fenrirs. Even Takumi seems to be siding with .”

Apparently, Leo and Farinette were debating over running and flying.
“Running is so tiring. Walking is bad enough as it is. Flying in the sky is so much more convenient. By the way, why did you run like that? I know you said sothing about Claire… n and won are so hard to understand…”
“Haha. Well, I don’t think you fairies could ever understand, since you don’t even have gender.”
Farinete scowled and shook her head.
It was a difference in values between species.

“Ah, Farinette. You better keep your head hidden. People will notice you.”
I had noticed that several people were looking at oddly, as I appeared to be talking towards Leo’s body instead of her head.
“Really? Well…I suppose you are right. I should not let the other humans see .”
And so she dove back into Leo’s fur.
“When we first ca to this town, Leo was also very unusual, and a lot of people stared.”
“Wuff.”
Of course, Leo was a Silver Fenrir, so at least we didn’t have much to worry about.
Back then, most people just wanted to pet Leo and feel her fur.
They had even made a line and waited…
Leo didn’t mind. She actually enjoyed being pett, but it was definitely a little odd to have people waiting like that.
But then again, it had also been a way to prove that she wasn’t dangerous…
