An apology about last night
“Excuse , Mr. Takumi. Oh, are you about to go to sleep?”
“No, it’s fine. It’s just that Liza is a little sleepy after drinking Milina’s dicine.”
After returning to the room, Leo and I were resting as Liza slept. And then Sebastian ca to the room. Ms. Lyra was also with us, and was gazing at Liza while petting her tail.
“Hmm. The recovery dicine. I tasted it as well, and it also made sleepy.”
So Sebastian had tested it as well.
He did look like the kind of person to be interested. He probably volunteered himself.
“Yes. Well, as for that. Depending on how we market it, that side-effect could be seen as a good thing…”
It was not so strong that you couldn’t shake it off. Liza probably only slept because it was already a good ti for a nap.
As for Sebastian, he was like us, and had also taken a liking to the taste of the recovery drink.
“You don’t look very well, Sebastian. Perhaps you are tired?”
“Ah, you have a sharp eye. However, it is not that kind of fatigue… In fact, I ca here in order to apologize.”
“Apologize?”
Was there any reason for Sebastian to apologize to ?
As I wondered about this, Sebastian bowed his head deeply.
“I apologize for watching you and Lady Claire during an intimate mont last night. Even though I was only following orders…it is no excuse.”
“Oh… too…”
“Ms. Lyra? Well…I would be lying if I said it was nothing… But I was just a little embarrassed. There’s no reason to apologize…”
“No. Even Lady Claire had so harsh words later.”
“She did…”
Ms. Lyra bowed her head as well.
According to Sebastian, while I was talking with Milina and looking at the dicine, Claire had been scolding them. So that was why he looked tired.
“I am very sorry, Mr. Takumi. While everyone in the house was interested, we should not have acted in that way…”
Now that I thought about, Claire had also been furious that ti that Mr. Ekenhart was spying on us.
Though, judging by what Sebastian said, they had not ant to do that. Apparently, Mr. Ekenhart had ordered him to keep an eye on us. And he was to send him reports.
As for Ms. Lyra and the others, they had just followed Liza, who had no idea what was going on. Obviously, Leo would be with them as well.
And since they attracted attention outside, so of the servants slowly started to approach and gather around as well…
Eventually, the group joined Sebastian and they beca the audience for the show.
As Liza had started it, I could not really complain at all. Though, it was amusing that she fell asleep shortly after and had to be carried by Ms. Lyra.
“Well, please don’t worry about that now. Besides, Ms. Lyra and the others had nothing to do with Mr. Ekenhart. And Liza is mostly to bla.”
“Thank you.”
Well, what should I do now?
Should I talk to Mr. Ekenhart directly? No, surely Claire would take care of that.
Regardless, I could understand why Sebastian and the other servants were so concerned about the matter. After all, most of the servants would be staying here, and so they would be separated from Claire…
