We arrived in Ractos and stepped out of the carriage at the gate.

I got out first and extended my hand to help Claire get out. Our hands squeezed tightly…it wasn’t because we were nervous or anything.

“Ehem! You always start when we aren’t looking… Lady Claire, Mr. Takumi. Johanna and I will be stuck in here forever if you do not move.”

“Ah, I’m sorry.”

Hermine coughed from inside of the carriage.

And I pulled Claire by the hand so she would not be blocking the entrance, and then I apologized.

I was well aware that Claire and I had been like this the whole journey.

And yet, I could not stop it… I was even stroking Claire’s hair at one point.

While Johanna was watching us with a smile, it must have been a terrible ti for Hermine.

After all, we were like that for nearly an hour.

“We got scolded…”

“Haha. We’ll have to be careful then.”

We chuckled together. Neither of us sounded very sorry about it.

“…Still, you have not let go of each other’s hands. It showed how much you get along. Which is a good thing. I’m a little jealous…”
