The fenrirs treated as a boss
“Kyau!”
“Ah…oh…hehe…Sherry…”
“Wuff-wuff.”
Sherry stretched and licked the tears off of Ms. Claire’s cheek.
It was like she was comforting her and saying that there was no need to cry.
Leo also nodded approvingly.
“Ms. Claire…I’m so happy!!”
“Woah, Ms. Anne!?”
“Anne!?”
Ms. Anne had sohow freed herself from Mr. Ekenhart, and had approached us while screaming and crying.
Tears were flowing like a fountain, even if she was happy about Ms. Claire and Sherry.
Well, I could understand her…
While it had nothing to do with her, she was more moved than Ms. Claire. Perhaps she was a surprisingly compassionate person.
“Now Anne…calm down. You’re ruining the mont.”
“…Kyau.”
“Uhhhh…okay…”
Even Sherry was sighing with exasperation.
And so Ms. Anne moved back to where Ms. Lyra and the others waited. But the damage had already been done…
It was no wonder Ms. Claire was muttering with annoyance.
“…Hmm! Well, fenrirs. Sherry has decided to stay with as a familiar… Will you allow it?”
After coughing, Ms. Claire wiped her face and turned towards the two fenrirs.
“Grau…grau-gau!”
“Gau!”
“Uhh…?”
“No problem! That’s what they said.”
“Thank you, Liza. …What a relief…”
“Can they really decide so easily? Well, not that it’s a bad thing.”
After seemingly thinking for just a few seconds, the father barked loudly and nodded.
And then a mont later, the mother barked and nodded as well.
It was clear what the answer was, but Ms. Claire had still looked towards Liza for confirmation.
“Grau-gau! Gau! Gau.”
“Wuff-wuff? Wuff!”
After that Leo and the fenrirs began to talk about sothing.
According to Liza, it was only natural for Sherry to beco a familiar to the person who saved her.
“But it wasn’t . It was Mr. Takumi who saved Sherry when she was dying…”
Ms. Claire muttered. But I hadn’t decided to bring Sherry back to the mansion.
What would have happened if we left her… She would have been well enough, but she was still young and didn’t know how to fight. So it was possible that she would be attacked by monsters again.
Perhaps her parents or other fenrirs would have saved her first…but it was impossible to know.
Regardless, Ms. Claire’s decision to bring her back had likely saved her.
Aside from that, it was apparently an honor for a fenrir to be around a Silver Fenrir. And so they were proud of Sherry.
They had only co to take Sherry, if Leo happened to refuse her.
“That’s fine…but why are you asking ?”
“Grau…gau. gau.”
“Gufff…”
In the end, the fenrirs showed their bellies to again. Apparently it was to show they were not hostile, and also their way of asking us to take care of Sherry.
In any case, they seed to like it when I petted them.
“Wuff. Wuff-wuff.”
“So it was because you told them, Leo…”
Leo barked in my direction.
Apparently, she had told the fenrirs that I was the leader.
But it wasn’t as if I had any say in the matter…
Dogs and wolves tended to have a packing order. And Leo had put on the top.
It was Mr. Ekenhart who had the most authority and ability. Or even Leo. But I decided not to think too hard about it.
“It is quite a sight. Seeing humans and fenrirs together like this. Though, I am included…”
“Yes, you were petting them a mont ago.”
After that, we returned to our lunch, which had been interrupted by the appearance of the fenrirs.
Well, we were almost finished anyway… Only, Sherry said she wanted to treat her parents to so delicious food.
And the parents seed to be hungry, and so Leo approved that they should join us.
Currently, I and Mr. Ekenhart, who had finished eating, were cooking so of the orc at for the fenrirs to eat. Ms. Lyra and the guards were also helping.
And like that, we watched the strange sight of Sherry and the fenrirs happily eating the food.
Ms. Claire and Ms. Anne were with them, and seed to be having fun.
