"Honey, you all watch TV with Shishi and the others. I'll head over to Cold Face for a bit!" After everyone finished dinner, Yun Hao reminded Chu Yan before he was ready to visit Cold Face once more, just in case Cold Face suddenly found a way to treat the Heart-devouring Gu.
"Can you wait a mont before going, honey? There's sothing I want to talk to you about!" Just as Yun Hao was about to leave, Chu Yan suddenly stood up, speaking to Yun Hao with unprecedented tenderness.
"Of course, anything my dear wife says goes!"
"Then let's go to the rooftop, let's talk quietly so they don't overhear!" Chu Yan playfully stuck out her tongue at Zhao Shishi, then grabbed Yun Hao's hand and led him toward the rooftop of the villa!
"What's going on, my dear wife? Why all the mystery? Are you perhaps suddenly in the mood to have a battle with on this rooftop? That won't do; soone around here is definitely watching us!" Yun Hao smirked mischievously, and though he said it wouldn't work, he already had Chu Yan in his arms.
"Husband, I've found out that I have the Heart-devouring Gu and can only live for seven days!" Chu Yan, uncharacteristically ignoring Yun Hao, took a deep breath and earnestly looked at him as she spoke.
Before Chu Yan even finished speaking, Yun Hao was completely stunned!
In disbelief, Yun Hao looked at Chu Yan, his mind montarily blank, unsure of how to respond!
"My dear, how did you find out? Did Tang Rou tell you?" After being in a daze for a while, Yun Hao lifted Chu Yan into his arms, so they were face-to-face, and quietly asked.
"Don't bla her, I overheard your conversation with Little Rou that night! I know that you've taken to those places these past few days to try to find a way or antidote to remove the Heart-devouring Gu from my body. I also know you didn't tell because you didn't want to worry. I understand all that!"
Chu Yan remained calm, no longer hoping for anything, only wishing to spend every remaining mont with the man she loved, and that would suffice.
"Wife, I—it's my fault for not being able to find the antidote that can save you!" Yun Hao's expression was tinged with guilt, almost unable to et Chu Yan's eyes!
Yun Hao was scared!
He was scared Chu Yan would bla him; everything that led to Sun Wuji harming Chu Yan was because of Yun Hao. Because Yun Hao killed Li Longxiang, angering Sun Wuji, if he hadn't brought her into this, Chu Yan would still be living her carefree life!
"Honey, I don't bla you, truly, I don't bla you at all. The ti I've spent with you has been my happiest. For the next three days, could you just stay with and not do anything else? Walk with through my final journey, okay?" Chu Yan cupped Yun Hao's face in her hands and offered him a passionate kiss, then said very affectionately.
"But if it weren't for , you wouldn't have been hurt; you could have had a new love, a new family!"
"Are you suggesting I marry Fu Jiajun? If you don't want , then I'll just find so random guy to spend my last three days with, huh!" Chu Yan, feigning anger, sighed softly and was about to get off Yun Hao's lap!
"No, no, no, even if I don't want you, you can't marry that jerk Fu Jiajun! Besides, who knows what that guy has turned into now!" Yun Hao hurriedly grabbed Chu Yan's hand, pulling her back into his embrace!
"Hmph, you even thought about not wanting ? I'm angry now!" Chu Yan glared charmingly at Yun Hao, pouting and pretending to ignore him!
"Really angry? No way? Let see what my dear wife looks like when she's angry! Oh wow, even when you're angry, you're so charming, look at that adorable little pout!" Like coaxing a child, Yun Hao gently guided Chu Yan's face toward him, smiling as he looked at her face, then cheekily pecked her red lips!
"Ugh, you're bullying !" Even though it wasn't their first kiss, Chu Yan still blushed shyly. It was just like her; no matter how many tis it happened, whether she initiated it or not, she always gave Yun Hao the feeling of a first kiss because she was always easily embarrassed!
"How am I bullying you?"
"Husband, let's go back!" Chu Yan weakly leaned against Yun Hao, resting her head on his shoulder, whispering softly.
"Okay!" What else could Yun Hao say to such a request from Chu Yan? He simply picked her up and carried her back to the room!
They only slept for a little over three hours, and when it was just after ten o'clock, they woke up together as if they had planned it, then snuggled sweetly for a while!
Yun Hao carried Chu Yan into the bathroom, and after showering together and getting dressed, they went downstairs to find that Zhao Shishi and Su Qiao had already gone to the company, and Aunty Wu had gone grocery shopping, so the entire villa was just the two of them!
"My dear wife, please get in the car!" Outside the villa, Yun Hao opened the car door and bowed politely at a ninety-degree angle like a gentleman.
Driving with Chu Yan, Yun Hao spent the day visiting many places she wanted to go, and by dinner ti, they arrived at the Chu Family's villa. By then, Chu Yan's parents were already waiting at the villa entrance, and Chu Tianxiang looked much older, no longer the spirited man he once was!
