“I can satisfy you now, as long as you want it,” he murmured in the tight space, his husky voice dangerously alluring.
Rong Yan couldn’t look directly at the handsome face so close to hers. As that stunning face closed in, she shrank back, her ears burning as if they were on fire. To hide her nervousness from being flirted back, she bit her lip and pleaded, “I was wrong, I truly was. Please forgive me, won’t you? I promise not to tempt fate again~”
“Where did you go wrong?” Li Shengxiao pocketed his hand around her waist and lowered his voice. He had only intended to frighten her a little so she would not bee too unruly.
As Rong Yan saw him leaning closer and closer, almost nose to nose with her and their breath intertwined, her cheeks heated up quickly. “I shouldn’t have spoken carelessly. I promise I won’t do it again, Li Shengxiao, you’re making it so hot. Let’s put some distance between us.”
Her snow-white skin flushed crimson, and with her hands pressed against his chest, she dodged his gaze coyly – adorably so. Li Shengxiao’s eyes swept over her soft pink lips. His gaze darkened as he suddenly realized that if the ‘lesson’ continued, the one getting taught might bee him instead.
“It’s really hot like this, Li Shengxiao,” Rong Yan said, oblivious to the change in his expression, still fighting for her own space.
Li Shengxiao watched the struggling figure in his arms, the fair cheeks blushing endearingly. He took a paused breath and asked in a low voice, “Yanyan, what did you just call me?”
“Huh?” Rong Yan was clueless. What was she supposed to call him, if not by his name?
Li Shengxiao, gripped her hand, his domineering possessiveness not quite hidden, “We’ve been dating for almost a year now; when do you plan to start addressing me differently?”
Rong Yan looked up at him, “What would you like me to call you?”
“You decide.”
Oh, so awkward?
Rong Yan blinked, “Mr. Li?”
Li Shengxiao’s grip on her wrist tightened another inch, his eyes carrying a warning.
“I’m kidding~” Rong Yan, afraid he would grip too hard and hurt her, quickly said, “Dear Mr. Li?”
Her voice wasn’t the sugary sweet type, more soft and lazy, with an unconscious upward lilt at the end – particularly when she deliberately drew out her words!
“Just the first part, not the last three words,” Li Shengxiao demanded.
Rong Yan chuckled silently to herself, suppressing the urge to show it, and looked at him innocently, “Which first part, dear?”
Li Shengxiao knew she was teasing on purpose, yet he still scooped up her soft waist, his thin lips uttering a single word, “Dear? Yanyan, are you sure it’s dear?”
Dear, did she think she was a customer service representative?
Dear dearest boyfriend… The most distinguished and cold man in Capital City’s heart melted with those seven words, and the dangerous look in his eyes was now filled with affection.
Li Shengxiao lifted his head, releasing her, and said in a hoarse voice, “Wait for me to pick you up in the afternoon.”
