The security guard did not understand what he meant by interesting.
But then he heard him mand in a deep voice, “Go, call KT, and say that I…”
He dictated a long list, and the security guard memorized each task, promptly executing them as soon as Lin Wei finished speaking.
Once the man had left, the powerful and authoritative old man picked up his nearly cooled tea and took a sip. The slightly astringent tea entered his mouth, and he knitted his brows then relaxed them, staring at the rippling water in his cup and muttered to himself, “I want to see if she really has the backbone, or if it was just talk in front of me.”
