The people in the meeting room collectively fell silent, none daring to be the one to speak up.
Only Fu Ya, with her simple mind, had a lightbulb moment upon hearing this. Her eyes started darting around as she boldly raised her hand, “Me.”
Qin Jun’s gaze landed on her, still in his languid manner, “Oh? What do you want to ask?”
Fu Ya was intimidated by his stare, but her opportunism overcame her fear. Her lips quivered, “It’s nothing much, Boss Qin. You just said that the pany is starting over, and I was wondering if that means the matter of me being shelved can be considered over?”
“You’ve been shelved?” Qin Jun looked slightly surprised.
Fu Ya mustered her courage, half plaining and half exonerating herself, “Due to a misunderstanding, I accidentally offended a fellow pany member, Rong Yan, and the director punished me by putting me on ice. I’ve been earnestly reflecting on my mistakes during this time and have realized that I was wrong, but the pany never said how long I would be shelved for, so I wanted to ask Boss Qin, with everything starting over, does this mean my punishment is over?”
She had intended to discreetly accuse Rong Yan, but failed to realize that in doing so, she inadvertently implicated the director as well.
The face of the KT Entertainment director turned ashen with anger, trembling but unable to lash out in front of the new boss. As if he hadn’t noticed Fu Ya’s excited expression at all, he let go, pulled back, and took out a handkerchief. He leisurely wiped his fingers while speaking indifferently, “There’s no need, I’ve permitted it. The shelving on you is canceled.”
