After everyone had left, Rong Yan noticed that Jiang Chenyue had chosen the best spot in the cafe. This spot was next to the floor-to-ceiling window, perfectly framing the bustling street outside, and it was tucked away in a corner, making it convenient to talk without worrying about being overheard. There were also several pots of beautiful green plants on the floor around their seating area, adding to the fresh and fortable atmosphere.
After the coffee and snacks were served, Jiang Chenyue took a sip and then looked at her curiously, "Have you finished the matter you mentioned on the phone? Did it go smoothly?"
Testing the cake from the cafe with her spoon, Rong Yan found the Black Forest cake sweet but not cloying, with just the right taste. She replied relaxedly, "It’s basically done."
"Hm? It’s done?"
She also tried the buckwheat milk tea. The warm milk tea warmed her stomach. Setting down the cup, she spoke vaguely, "I’ve scheduled cooperation with the other party, but there’s a small matter to resolve before we proceed."
Hearing this, Jiang Chenyue immediately asked, "Do you need help?"

Jiang Chenyue, seeing her smile blossom, felt her mood lighten and smiled too, scolding playfully, "If you’re this polite with me next time, I might not want to answer your calls~! By the way, do you have time after this? I want to buy a necklace next door."

After buying a scarf and a handbag, they finally reached the counter where the necklaces were sold.
They hadn’t even entered when they heard shouting inside.
A sharp female voice, clearly full of years but still powerful, was cursing,
