“Which one of you even likes fatty beef?!”
His frustrated look was too funny, Rong Yan glanced at Li Shengxiao, who stood tall, carrying the largest bag with one hand, and she smirked, avoiding his probing gaze, “…No one really, Duidui likes it.”

“…” Rong Yan, cornered, looked even more evasive, her eyes avoiding him entirely. She looked around and changed the subject, “We’ve bought everything, let’s hurry back; cooking will take quite some time.”
“Little Yan Rong, don’t try to dodge, do you like it too? Damn, I knew you folks were secretly showing off your love.”
Rong Yan shot him a look filled with mock despair, “Nobody was trying to show off, you’re the one who’s asking. And then you’re plaining.”
Cui Jiangjing started acting shamelessly, “I don’t care, anyway, you’ve wounded my fragile soul, you must pensate me!”
Rong Yan pushed his hand away, refusing to be conned, “Isn’t hotpot pensation enough?”
He rolled his eyes, “I don’t want hotpot as pensation, it doesn’t match the dog food you stuffed me with; if you want to pensate, at least show some sincerity.”
“Like what?”
He smiled, showing a row of big white teeth, “Like help me pursue Gu Linxi.”
Rong Yan stopped walking, sizing him up deeply. Just as he was full of hope, she dashed it with, “Dream on!”
Even if Cui Jiangjing was slow to react, he could see her disdain for him, cursed under his breath, and ran to block Rong Yan, “e on, you know how good I am to you usually, I’d run faster than my aunt to the hospital for you if you had trouble, for the sake of our long friendship, help me out.”

He instinctively let go of Rong Yan’s clothes, and after doing so, he realized the harmonious scene ahead, “Damn, they’re showing off their love again!”
Fu Yi, having watched the excitement, finally came over from the back, holding back laughter, patted his shoulder, and followed the duo ahead.
