The director looked at her in surprise, then turned his head to glance at Rong Yan. Out of a sense of responsibility, he spoke up to explain for Rong Yan, "What does our decision not to lend you clothes have to do with Miss Rong? Miss Rong just arrived, and before she came, she didn’t even know you were here. Besides, she hasn’t said a word the whole time. I don’t understand why you’re dragging Miss Rong into this."
"Of course, she doesn’t need to speak. Even without her saying anything, you all would eagerly flatter her and bully me. Why would she need to be the bad guy herself!"
Rong Yan, baffled by the unwarranted scolding, raised her eyebrows, her clear almond eyes looking directly at her, asking, "Why do you think I’m the reason they won’t lend you clothes? Why would I want to be the villain and bully you? There’s got to be a reason if everything’s fine with my brain."

The young, fashionable short-haired girl ignored the advice, angrily clenching her fist tightly, glaring at her coldly, "Everyone in the circle says Mr. Li likes me, and because of that, you are always against me. You’ve told others in private to bully me! Can you deny that the cancellations of endorsements weren’t instigated by you? Also, the drama I was shooting—you pulled strings with the investors to alter my lead female role to a supporting one. Rong Yan was totally confused, but she roughly understood her point. Surprisingly, she raised her eyes, looking at her, "Are you saying that Li Shengxiao likes you?"

Jian Yao was momentarily stunned by the question, nearly at a loss for words.
