The high-level executives in the KT Entertainment meeting room knew that there weren’t many who supported her as an outsider. Fu Ya’s father was just the one brave enough to step forward, while those who kept their heads down were actually siding with him.
If she got suppressed by Fu Ya’s father this time, this group of senior staff would disregard her even more in the future!
She narrowed her eyes and slammed her phone on the table.
"Mr. Fu."

"Who are you talking to?"

"You are an employee of KT Entertainment, not the owner of KT Entertainment! I’ve only heard of employees needing the employer’s consent for personnel changes, but never of an employer needing the approval of their subordinates for a change in leadership! We have over a thousand employees in the pany—do I need everyone’s approval to take over the pany? Does that sound realistic to you?"
Fu Ya’s father didn’t expect her to be so sharp-tongued, and retorted defiantly, "I don’t care about others, but for such a big change, the pany should at least inform us seniors, right? Changing the owner without so much as a notice is unacceptable to us!"
"If you can’t accept it, you can resign," Rong Yan replied expressionlessly.
"You!" Fu Ya’s father’s face turned red and his neck bulged, standing rooted to the spot, unable to counterattack.
She didn’t give him a glance, who was awkwardly standing there, as she rose first, propping her arms on the desk, leaned forward, and swept her gaze across everyone in the meeting room, softly saying, "I know not many of you support me, but from today onwards, I am the boss of KT Entertainment! I will advance and retreat with the pany and take it to new heights. If you’re willing to trust me, stay and let’s all work hard together! I will not neglect any senior who has contributed their youth to the pany."
She then changed her tone, "But!"
"For those who don’t trust me and don’t want to work with me, I won’t stop you; you can go to the HR department to settle your wages. I will inform HR to give you an extra year’s salary as pensation from the pany! I will not let down those who stay, and I hope those who stay do not let me down. After she finished speaking, she ignored the murmuring voices in the meeting room and turned to the only middle-aged man who stood up like her.
"Mr. Fu, you too should think carefully. Decide whether you want to stay. If you choose to stay, keep in mind that KT Entertainment only has family; everyone is part of a family, not so-called seniors or the notion of seniority! I only look at ability, not seniority when using people. Of course, the pany will certainly have benefits for long-term employees, but seniority is no basis for confronting the boss! I respect every senior employee and hope Mr. Fu respects me as well!"
These words appeared directed at Fu Ya’s father but were actually meant for everyone in the meeting room.
