She screamed loudly, but unfortunately, few people in the mall listened to her; most were just there to watch the drama.
Some even pulled out their phones to take pictures of them.

Once they were the only ones left in the cramped hospital room, he didn’t speak; he first took a stack of money from his wallet and placed it on Chu Xi’s quilt.
"I’ve already heard about what happened in the mall this afternoon. Take this twenty thousand yuan to buy some nutrition supplements. I’ll talk to her when I get home tonight, but next time, stay away from her. Don’t let her run into you again! Avoid malls, high-end restaurants, and beauty salons for now. Chu Xi found his words unbearably grating; in a hoarse and broken voice, she forced out a word, "Get out."

An old, fat, ugly man, someone she once wouldn’t deign to glance at, had the nerve to offer his ’pany’ as if it were a reward. She felt no gratitude, only an overwhelming nausea, so intense it almost made her retch.
The veins on Chu Xi’s forehead bulged as she struggled to turn over, pointing vehemently at the man standing by the bed, shouting, "Get out!"
"Chu Xi, don’t be ungrateful! You still think you’re the goddess you once were? Take a look at yourself now. If you piss me off, be careful you won’t have a place to hide!"
"Get out!" Chu Xi’s eyes burned red with hatred, so viciously that even Han Feng, a grown man, was startled.
He spat out, "You filthy whore!"
And hurriedly, as if escaping, yanked open the hospital room door and stormed out.
After leaving, he returned to snatch back the money he had just given Chu Xi, stuffed it back into his bag, and with a cold snort, disappeared again from the clinic.
