Jiang Nuan was a bit surprised, but it was merely surprise. She almost immediately refused, "I just got over a cold, so I want to eat something simple tonight. I won’t go over."

Jiang Nuan, not in high spirits, didn’t want to tangle with her. She thanked her straightforwardly, "Please thank the neighbor for me."
Since she put it that way, the maid couldn’t continue inviting her and nodded with a sense of loss, "Alright then, Miss Susan, rest early."

The lights were bright in the small villa across the street, the European-style crystal chandeliers illuminating every corner of the living room as bright as day.
The front door clicked open.
The Filipina maid was seen changing shoes as she came in.
Fu Yi, however, didn’t see the person he wished to see.
His eyes changed from disappointment to sharpness.
"Where is she?"
The pace of his speech was calm, deep like the strings of a piano.
The maid could clearly feel the low pressure around her. Deep inside, she silently sighed; Sir truly had an unspoken affection for Miss Susan. As she walked over, she answered quietly, "Miss Susan said she wanted to eat something simple tonight, so she didn’t e over."
