Jiang Nuan listened to him speak to her in a calm tone, as if their relationship was genuinely just simple friendship.
She suddenly became unsure if her and Lemon’s analysis was right.
He showed no sign of liking her; his indifference made it seem like he was only being nice to her because they had known each other for years.
Jiang Nuan’s fingers rubbed against the cup, a sign of her nervousness. "I came to you not because I feel burdened."
Fu Yi said, "Then what do you want to talk to me about?"
Jiang Nuan looked into his eyes, the courage she had gathered on her way there deflated rapidly. "I..."

Speak up, Jiang Nuan, what are you afraid of! He secretly bought a house across from you without telling you, pretending he lost his passport and had no place to stay to trick you into taking him home. He’s the one in the wrong, so what are you scared of!

If she hadn’t been drinking, why was she talking nonsense?
Realizing his implication from his expression, Jiang Nuan felt a mix of embarrassment and confusion. Her cheeks flushed, and she bit her lip nervously, speaking slowly, "I’m serious, do you want to consider it?"
