Rong Yan took a deep breath, closed her laptop, applied a face mask, lay down, and turned off the light.
She thought the external noise would be overwhelming, putting her under enough psychological stress to keep her awake, but unexpectedly, she slept without any pressure until the break of day. She didn’t even notice when Li Shengxiao came back and slept beside her—she slept like a log.
The next morning at ten, Rong Yan received a text from Estelle on time. She got ready, put on a cap as a disguise, and rushed to the airport.
