"550 million gold coins!"

Denise's voice thundered from his VIP room, his anger evident in both his expression and tone.

'These fools… They're just raising the price to spite ! Why don't they just give up and let have the treasure?!'

His fists clenched tightly as he grit his teeth in frustration. The price was rising at an alarming rate, and no one seed willing to back down.

Denise's fury only deepened. Not only was he being ignored, but no one was showing him the respect he believed he deserved. Worse yet, his humiliating defeat at Yuan's hands still haunted him. The mory of being left in a pathetic state outside the stadium, where anyone could see his disgrace, made his skin crawl with rage.

The thought of skinning Yuan alive and rubbing salt into his fresh wounds briefly flashed through his mind, making his breathing heavy with fury.

"600 million gold coins!"

The powerful voice of Emperor Philip suddenly resounded, shifting the crowd's attention toward his VIP room.

"620 million gold coins!"

Heidi imdiately raised the bid, her tone filled with unwavering determination. This was no ordinary weapon—it was an exceptional treasure, and she had no intention of losing it to anyone.

"650 million gold coins!"

Princess Livia joined the bidding war, her expression resolute.

Seated beside her, Holy Son Arthur observed her with a slight chuckle, admiring her dedication.

'This girl… She's truly devoted to the God of Light and Justice. I wouldn't mind making her my concubine once I marry Priestess Helena.'

A smirk played on his lips as he returned his attention to the auction.

anwhile, Livia tensed up, sensing Arthur's gaze lingering on her.

'Why is this idiot looking at like that? Did he suspect sothing?' Continue your saga on My Virtual Library Empire

She quickly forced herself to remain calm.

'No… It's impossible. There's no way he could know my plans. I've planned everything ticulously, and only Mother is aware of it.'

She took a deep breath, pushing aside her concerns. Overthinking would only make Arthur more suspicious. Right now, securing the mythical treasure was far more important.

"800 million gold coins!"

Suddenly, Aisha's lodious and confident voice echoed throughout the stadium.

For a mont, silence fell over the crowd.

"800 million gold coins! Such an absurd amount! Just who is this mysterious woman, willing to spend so much on a single weapon?"

"This is unbelievable! So much money just for a dagger! Just how powerful is this weapon for them to spend so much on it?"

Shocked murmurs filled the stadium as people struggled to comprehend the sheer insanity of the bids. Aisha's sudden astronomical bid had left the audience in awe, and yet, despite their disbelief, the auction continued—many were even willing to sell their hos for a chance at obtaining the mythical Purple Poison Blade.

"820 million gold coins!"

A deep voice suddenly cut through the commotion.

The bidder? Ajex.

Having remained silent since the start of the auction, his unexpected bid imdiately drew the attention of the entire stadium. Even Lady Teressa, who had been carefully recording the bidders' identification numbers, raised an eyebrow in surprise.

'So that VIP room wasn't empty after all. I was wondering why it had been silent for so long… But to bid at this mont?'

A small smile played on her lips as she jotted down Ajex's ID and bid amount.

Then, without missing a beat—

"1 billion gold coins!"

Aisha's lodious voice resounded once again, sending an electrifying shockwave through the crowd.

Silence.

The entire stadium fell completely still.

Every head turned toward Aisha's VIP room, eyes filled with a mix of astonishnt and disbelief. Many even started doubting their own ears.

"Did I mishear that?"

"One billion gold coins?!"

But before anyone could fully process her bid, another voice rang out.

"1.1 billion gold coins!"

Heidi's confident shout shattered the montary silence, pushing the price even higher.

"1.5 billion gold coins!"

Ajex followed imdiately, his irritation evident as the treasure's price had skyrocketed far beyond expectation.

"1.6 billion gold coins!"

A new voice, one filled with sheer frustration and rage, suddenly erupted.

It was Denise.

Inside his VIP room, his anger reached a boiling point. The absurdity of the situation was too much—he had already smashed countless objects in his fit of rage.

"Damn it all! One billion six hundred million gold coins! Is this so kind of sick joke?!"

His furious roar shook the walls of his room. In a fit of blind fury, he kicked a small table with full force, sending it flying into the wall where it shattered into pieces.

The small table shattered into countless pieces from the force of Denise's kick, but his rage didn't stop there. Without hesitation, he smashed his fist into the wall, the impact sending cracks spiderwebbing across its surface. A nearby sofa collapsed, rendered completely unusable from the damage.

"Because of those bastards from the other Ten Great Families, it's getting harder and harder for to acquire this treasure… A bunch of worthless fools!"

Denise spat the words in pure frustration. His body trembled with fury as he stord over to a cabinet, yanking out a wine bottle. Without bothering to pour a glass, he tilted his head back and drank straight from the bottleneck.

The alcohol burned down his throat, but it did nothing to cool the fire raging within him.

"Just you wait. Once I get my hands on the Purple Poison Dagger, I'll slaughter every single mber of the Ten Great Families for this!"

With that final declaration, he smashed the wine bottle against the wall, the sharp crack of breaking glass echoing through the VIP room.

But before his anger could spiral further—

"2 billion gold coins!"

Aisha's calm yet assertive voice suddenly rang out, cutting through the tension in the stadium like a knife.

A single minute. That was all she had left before Denise would have won the auction by default—but she had waited until the last mont, making her move with perfect timing.

"2.3 billion gold coins!"

Heidi imdiately countered, her voice laced with frustration.

Veni, seated beside her, shifted uncomfortably, concern evident in her eyes.

"2.5 billion gold coins!"

Ajex joined in once more, his voice carrying undeniable irritation.

Yet, as soon as the bid left his lips, reality crashed down on him like a wave.

"This is getting really, really bad for us…" he muttered under his breath, rubbing his temples.

His caretaker, standing close by, asked in a low voice, "What should we do now, Young Master Ajex?"

A sigh escaped Ajex's lips before he responded, "Nothing. There's nothing we can do. Asking the other Ten Great Families for money would be humiliating—it would make our clan look weak and pathetic."

The caretaker nodded gravely, his expression darkening.

"Indeed. This is… an unexpected and deeply concerning situation."

Silence hung in the air for a mont before Ajex finally leaned back against the sofa, a bitter smile playing on his lips.

"We've lost the treasure."

His caretaker let out a slow exhale.

"It seems we weren't fated to obtain it. What a pity… A chance like this won't co again."

Ajex closed his eyes for a brief second, then let out a frustrated chuckle.

"All because of my cheapskate of a father…"

Just as regret settled into the hearts of many—

"3 billion gold coins!"

Aisha's clear, unwavering voice rang out once more, slicing through the stadium's heavy atmosphere.

In an instant—

The entire stadium fell silent.

Eyes widened. Breath hitched.

One by one, heads turned toward Aisha's VIP room, their faces painted with sheer disbelief.

Inside his VIP room, Denise trembled with fury. His face had turned an ugly shade of red, his eyes burning like embers stoked by rage.

"Damn it! How dare that bitch increase the bid again?! And to such a ridiculous amount! This is unacceptable!"

His furious shout echoed within the soundproofed room, but no matter how loudly he raged, the outco was already set in stone.

anwhile, on the grand auction stage, Lady Teressa remained composed, her gaze fixed on the hourglass before her. The last few grains of sand trickled down, marking the end of the bidding war.

Her sweet, lodic voice carried across the silent stadium as she flashed a radiant smile.

"Since no one else wishes to bid any further, the Purple Poison Dagger now belongs to VIP Room Number 9! Congratulations to VIP Number 9 for winning the auction!"

The announcent sent waves of murmurs and hushed conversations rippling through the crowd.

Inside the victorious VIP Room Number 9, Jones could barely contain his excitent. His face bead with joy as he turned toward Aisha, his eyes filled with admiration.

"Congratulations, Lady Aisha! You've shown the Ten Great Families their place! Oh, how I wish I could have seen their pitiful expressions after losing to us! Hahaha!"

Jones let out a booming laugh, the thrill of victory evident in his voice.

Aisha, anwhile, simply smirked.

"Hmph! Let this be a lesson to them—The Blank Clan isn't to be underestimated."

Though the price had risen higher than expected, Aisha had no regrets. A mythical treasure like the Purple Poison Dagger was worth every single gold coin.

Yuan pressed his lips gently against Anna Grace's, savoring the brief but intimate mont. When they finally parted, he gave her a soft smile.

"I'll go congratulate my aunt for winning the auction, okay?"

Anna Grace's eyes sparkled as she nodded.

"Of course, darling." Then, with a playful pout, she added, "Just don't stay too long with her, okay?"

Yuan chuckled and caressed her cheek.

"I promise I won't take long."

With that, he turned and left the room, his steps light with excitent.

A few minutes later, outside VIP Room Number 9…

The entrance was guarded by several n, their eyes sharp and alert. The mont Yuan approached, they instinctively moved to block his path, their expressions wary.

However, as they took in his appearance, realization dawned in their eyes.

Lady Aisha's instructions had been clear.

Without hesitation, the guards stepped aside, allowing Yuan to pass through without question.

The mont he entered the lavish VIP room, his voice rang out, laced with playful warmth.

"Aunt Aisha, did you miss ?"
