Conrad stared at Yuan in disbelief. He couldn't believe Yuan would be cruel enough to suggest sothing so intense and ruthless. He had never t soone so twisted before.

"Y-You're a monster…" Conrad uttered in a weak, trembling voice as he looked at Yuan with bloodshot eyes.

Yuan chuckled upon hearing this. "Countless people have called a monster. It's nothing new to ."

Then he looked at Kael and Zane with a wide grin, clearly amused by their pitiful expressions. He was looking forward to their decision.

"So, what's your choice, Heroes? Are you going to fight each other to the end, or do you want to kill you in the worst way imaginable?" Yuan asked, his voice cold and intimidating as he awaited their answer.

Upon hearing this, Kael and Zane swallowed nervously before looking at each other with trembling gazes.

They didn't know what to choose, as both were terrified of Yuan.

They realized they no longer had a choice. They either fought each other to the death, or Yuan would make them suffer in the most brutal and cruel way possible.

'W-What should we do now? Is there no way to escape this nightmare? It was such a stupid decision to seek revenge on this monster in the first place!' Kael and Zane looked at Yuan with terror in their eyes, their bodies trembling.

Yuan's murderous gaze alone made their hearts skip a beat.

"I-If you force us to do this, the Holy Church will make you pay…" Kael growled, glaring at Yuan with fury in his eyes.

"Go on. Fight. I don't care about the Holy Church. I can crush them whenever I want," Yuan replied with a confident smile, his expression turning deadly serious as they hesitated to obey.

Seeing the murderous look on Yuan's face, both Kael and Zane trembled in fear and imdiately drew their swords, pointing their weapons at each other. Neither wanted to die.

"Kael, I don't want to do this—but you have to die. I can't die here, not like this. I have too much left to accomplish in this world. I'm sorry." Zane shouted with a forced grin on his face, no longer hesitant.

His goal was clear—he would kill Kael, leave this place alive, and return to the Imperial Palace of the Holy Light Empire. He couldn't afford to die here. He had dreams, ambitions, a future waiting for him.

And he wasn't going to throw all of that away just because Kael was his best friend and a trusted partner. Even if they'd grown up together, Zane couldn't sacrifice himself for soone else.

"You bastard. Don't think that I'll go easy on you just because we're friends. I'm not planning to die here either. I also have things to accomplish in this world," Kael said with a smirk on his face as he gripped his sword firmly, ready to attack Zane at any mont.

"One of us must die here. And that will be you—Kael. So, you might as well give up and let kill you already."

"Don't utter such nonsense, Zane. Don't forget that I'm the Hero of the Holy Light. A single attack from my sword is enough to level a mountain."

"Is that so? Let's see who's stronger between us. I won't show you any rcy, Kael!" Zane shouted with a wide, vicious grin as he lunged at Kael with killing intent.

"Don't be delusional, Zane. You're already as good as dead." Kael also lunged forward, his sword raised high as he coated himself in a thin layer of Mana to enhance his strength and speed.

Shortly, they began to clash, attacking each other with full force, each attempting to end the other's life with a single decisive blow.

Anna, Grace, and everyone else stared at the shocking scene with wide-open eyes, seemingly in disbelief.

They were stunned by Yuan's cruel thod of making the two heroes fight to the death. However, Valeria, Xi ili, and Fang Xiaoyan were visibly impressed by Yuan's brutal but effective way of dealing with arrogance.

Especially with soone as prideful as Kael and Zane—two arrogant fools who had no idea what kind of monster they were provoking until it was too late.

"He's so cool… as expected of our husband," Valeria muttered in a low voice, smiling beautifully as she looked at Yuan.

"Indeed. He's so cool and charming, too." Both Xi ili and Fang Xiaoyan nodded with smiles on their beautiful faces.

They couldn't help but admire Yuan's cold yet captivating way of handling arrogance. Their hearts fluttered with pride, happiness, and excitent.

"That's more like it. Make each other bleed until you both die from blood loss… Hahaha!" Yuan laughed in amusent as he watched the bloody scene before him, clearly enjoying it.

He was thrilled by the sight of two forr comrades turning on each other for survival. It was like a coliseum death match—grueso, thrilling, and addictive.

"Keep it up. You're making very happy with this show. More blood… I want to see more blood! Hahaha!" Yuan laughed even louder, his excitent boiling over like wildfire.

"S-Stop this nonsense… if this keeps up, both of them will die from blood loss…" Conrad managed to speak with difficulty, his internal organs damaged from the suffocating pressure of Yuan's killing intent.

After all, Conrad was only a mortal with a strong body—there was no way he could withstand the killing intent of a cultivator.

Furthermore, Yuan was radiating only a fraction of his true power; if he had unleashed his full strength, Conrad would have died on the spot, just like the Wyvern he had been riding.

Even a mighty beast like the Wyvern couldn't endure Yuan's killing intent—and Conrad was rely human. He would have perished instantly.

"Oh? And do you think I'll let you interrupt my fun? Be gone, you worthless piece of trash! The sight of you makes my stomach churn," Yuan said, his voice cold and distant, laced with an ancient power that sent a chill down Conrad's spine.

With a flick of his finger, Yuan unleashed a devastating Sword Aura that cleaved Conrad in two, ending his life in an instant.

"Now I can enjoy the show without any interruption," Yuan sighed, refocusing his gaze on the brutal duel between Kael and Zane.

Rose, Julie, Ava, Miss Zara, and Little Zoe trembled at the sight of Yuan dispatching Conrad so casually. Even Leah watched with wide-open eyes, utterly shocked.

'Is this really Yuan? When did he beco so cold and ruthless? This is unbelievable!' Leah thought, swallowing hard as she stared at him. He looked nothing like the man she loved.

It seed as though sothing had awakened inside Yuan, transforming him into a completely different person.

'His mastery of Sword Aura has suddenly deepened… it's as if he trained for tens of thousands of years—yet that's impossible given his bone age,' Fang Xiaoyan thought, disbelief etched on her face. Witnessing Yuan's flawless execution of his Sword Aura left her awestruck.

It was inconceivable that a nineteen-year-old could achieve such profound understanding. It felt as if he had spent countless lifetis mastering the blade.

anwhile, Kael and Zane continued their relentless assault, each seeking to end the other with a surprise strike. Both were growing exhausted but refused to yield—neither wanted to face a more brutal, lingering death at Yuan's command.

Both of them pressed on, driven by the grim realization that only one could leave this place alive.

They had already witnessed how cruel Yuan and his won could be. The grueso death of Archbishop Gregor, who was slain right before their eyes, still haunted them in their sleep.

None of them wanted to suffer the sa fate as the Archbishop—especially at the hands of Valeria, the woman with a muscular build and an indomitable personality.

As Kael and Zane continued their furious battle, Yuan's vision suddenly dimd. In the blink of an eye, he found himself surrounded by an endless, pitch-black void.

At first, confusion gripped him—but soon, realization dawned. This wasn't his first ti here. The place, while strange, now felt oddly familiar. Unlike the first ti, fear didn't rise in his chest.

"How did I end up here again?" Yuan muttered in confusion, scanning the darkness for the identical-looking man he had encountered before.

"Shouldn't you be the one to know that? Why do you still look so confused? You wanted to co here—and that's why you're here."

The voice rang out behind him—familiar, yet sohow unnervingly foreign. It resembled his own, but there was sothing about it: a sharp arrogance that hadn't been there before.

Turning around, Yuan saw a man who looked exactly like him—only more mature, with a sharper gaze and a heavier presence. Yet, despite their identical faces, sothing was off.

This man looked nothing like the one he had encountered during his previous visit to this space. His aura was nacing—cold and suffocating. Unlike before, Yuan felt a trace of fear creep up his spine.

The previous figure had been calm and wise, but this one radiated overwhelming power and dominance. It was as though he were staring at a version of himself that had embraced absolute control—one that had shed all hesitation and weakness.

"Who are you? You're not the sa person I've t before," Yuan asked, narrowing his eyes at the mysterious figure. Confusion and curiosity warred in his heart as he studied the man's features and overwhelming presence.

"You already know who I am. Instead of asking who I am, you should be wondering what's currently happening." The man chuckled softly, his eyes gleaming with ancient knowledge as he stared at Yuan.

"Don't speak like I know you—I've never t you before. So no, I don't know who you are," Yuan replied cautiously. The aura surrounding this man was suffocating—far too powerful to be ordinary.

"Is that so…?" The man let out a disappointed sigh. "I think you've really lost it this ti. How unfortunate. It's not the ti yet…"

"What ti?" Yuan asked, utterly confused.

"The ti for our return."

Suddenly, another voice echoed behind him. Yuan turned swiftly—and saw the man he had t during his first visit to this eerie space. His presence was far calr, yet equally commanding.

"That's right. Once we return, the entire Nine Heavens will tremble in fear! Hahaha!" the new figure laughed wildly, his voice reverberating throughout the void.

"And when that happens," the previous one added with a cold grin, "the Heavens will beg for rcy—for betraying us, for siding with our enemies!"

"Perhaps our na would help jog his mory," the first man suggested with a sly smile, his gaze fixed on Yuan's face.

"Perhaps…" the second man mused. "Shall we try?"

"Definitely. For our sake, the sooner we return, the better. And we always knew this would happen."

"Indeed," the first man said, smiling faintly as he looked into the darkness as though reminiscing about a distant past.

Then, the second man stepped forward and stared directly at Yuan with a wide, proud grin on his face.

"Since you're struggling to rember who we are—who you are—we'll give you a little push."

His voice deepened as he spoke, the air around him turning heavy and cold.

"When I was alive, my na alone was enough to make the world tremble. People didn't even dare to speak it aloud. I was called…"

He paused for dramatic effect, then leaned in slightly with a wicked grin.

"The Malevolent God of Slaughter—the Evil God!"

He straightened up, laughing softly.

"Don't you think it has a nice ring to it?" he said with a chilling chuckle.
