The guard, who was clearly a spy working for the Holy Church, looked at Aisha with a mix of shock and fury on his face. He couldn't believe that Aisha would dare to shout at him, even calling him sothing unspeakable.
This had never happened before, as far as he could rember, and no one had ever dared to speak against the Holy Church in such a manner.
"You'll regret saying that to … rember this."
After saying that, the guard left the room with a clearly displeased look on his face, furious. Unfortunately, he didn't have what it took to oppose soone from one of the ten great families.
The Imperial Family watched the scene with clear disbelief on their faces. They were also shocked by Aisha's aggressive stance toward the Holy Church.
And from the look on her face alone, the Imperial Family could easily tell that the Blank Clan wasn't on good terms with the Holy Church for so reason.
This was actually a good thing for the Imperial Family, and they felt relieved knowing that the Blank Clan wasn't aligned with the Holy Church.
"Now that the scum of the Holy Church has left, let's discuss the matter of why I'm here," Aisha said with a soft smile on her face as she retrieved the talisman paper and Spirit Stone.
After that, she placed the talisman paper on the tea table in front of her and gently set the Spirit Stone on top of it.
The Imperial Family was very confused by her actions, and they stared at the yellow talisman paper with strange looks on their faces.
Suddenly, the talisman paper gave off a golden glow and ford a barrier around the room, concealing everything inside. No sound could escape the formation.
"What is happening? Why is there a barrier around us?"
The Imperial Family looked at Aisha in confusion as they saw the barrier forming around the room, blocking any sound from leaving.
They were curious about the barrier, as they had never seen one like it before. They could see it, but they couldn't feel its presence—it was as if the barrier was completely undetectable.
"This is a unique barrier I've placed so that the dog from the Holy Church spying on us won't hear our conversation. Don't worry, it's completely safe," Aisha assured the Imperial Family with a reassuring smile.
"This is the first ti I've seen such a mysterious and unique barrier. Is this a secret technique of the Blank Clan?" Emperor Lucien asked, a curious look on his face as he studied the barrier.
"No. It was given to by my nephew," Aisha replied with a small chuckle, gently shaking her head.
"By my nephew, I'm talking about 'Yuan.' The sa person who is currently helping your daughter and keeping her safe from the Holy Church," Aisha said with a wide grin as she revealed this information. She continued, "And as we speak, they should already be here—just waiting for the right mont to enter the palace."
"What?! He's already here?! Isn't that incredibly dangerous? The people of the Holy Church are everywhere in this city!" Emperor Lucien imdiately stood up, a shocked expression on his face as he stared at Aisha with wide eyes.
"Indeed. He could arrive at any mont. And don't worry—the Holy Church can't do anything to him. After all, even the First Commander of the Holy Knights lost his life to Yuan," Aisha replied with a proud grin on her beautiful face, practically beaming.
As soon as Aisha said that, the entire room fell into a heavy silence. Everyone stared at her with wide eyes, seemingly in disbelief.
"Y-Yuan took down Sir Conrad?! That's… unbelievable," Emperor Lucien muttered in shock, his voice filled with disbelief.
He couldn't fathom that soone so powerful had been killed by a re 19-year-old. It sounded absurd—but thinking about all Yuan had accomplished, and the rumors that surrounded him, it didn't seem impossible.
After all, soone who could take down SS-rank monsters and wipe out an entire colony of corrupted creatures inside the Forest of Never Return could definitely kill soone like Conrad—the First Commander of the Holy Knights.
Even Empress Elendriel was visibly stunned upon learning of Conrad's death at the hands of her daughter's savior, and she couldn't help but slowly smile.
Not just her—Emperor Lucien was smiling too.
For the first ti in years, they felt true happiness. The Holy Church had always oppressed them, but now their most powerful warrior was gone.
"Not just Conrad. Two heroes summoned from another world also perished with him. And they were the strongest among the summoned," Aisha revealed, shocking the Imperial Family even more.
"What?! Kael and Zane are dead too?! That's unthinkable!" Empress Elendriel exclaid in disbelief. She couldn't believe that two of the summoned heroes had already lost their lives.
anwhile, Yuan and his wives were slowly descending toward the palace when they noticed a guard sending out a magic letter.
'Does this fool really think he can inform the Holy Church of our arrival in the Imperial City? How foolish,' Yuan thought with a small grin on his face.
With a flick of his finger, he released a small wisp of Sword Aura toward the flying paper bird, instantly destroying it before it could escape the periter of the Imperial Palace.
The guard noticed the magic letter being destroyed and imdiately beca alert. He drew his weapon and began scanning his surroundings cautiously.
Unfortunately for him, he couldn't detect anyone's presence nearby, which imdiately confused him. How had the magic letter been destroyed so suddenly and unexpectedly?
However, he failed to look up at the sky—if he had, he would have seen Yuan and his wives hovering above him.
But it was already too late, as Yuan suddenly appeared behind him like a ghost. The guard imdiately sensed it and panicked; fear gripped his heart as though a terrifying monster stood behind him.
Sweat ford on his forehead as he felt the overwhelming pressure from behind—his instincts scread at him to run. He had never felt anything so terrifying, which made him panic even more.
However, it was far too late to escape. A powerful hand moved toward his neck at lightning speed, grabbing and lifting him into the air.
"You've got so nerve, talking so boldly to my dear aunt. For a lowly dog of the Holy Church, you're surprisingly bold... Now, rest in peace."
Yuan's voice was like a devil's whisper just before the guard lost his life. A look of disbelief was etched on his face in his final mont.
Once the guard was dead, Yuan casually tossed the lifeless body aside. A small wisp of fla touched the corpse—and in the blink of an eye, it vanished.
"Thanks for the help, ili. You're amazing," Yuan said with a smile, looking at his cute wife who had used her fla to erase the body completely.
"You can always count on , Hubby!" Xi ili exclaid with a big grin, stealing a few smug glances at Fang Xiaoyan.
Seeing Xi ili's smug expression, Fang Xiaoyan gritted her teeth in frustration and snorted coldly before looking away.
Anna and Grace saw this little exchange between Xi ili and Fang Xiaoyan and couldn't help but chuckle softly before shaking their heads slightly.
"Let's go inside. Aunt Aisha is having a conversation with Livia's parents right now," Yuan said before proceeding toward the palace, his wives following him with a nod.
Livia was having a hard ti believing she was finally ho after so long. It all felt like a dream. After betraying the Holy Church by refusing to hand over the legendary shield, she had thought she'd never return.
But thanks to Yuan and his wives' kindness, she finally made it back. Now, after such a long journey, she would be able to see her parents again.
For a mont, she felt overwheld by heartwarming emotions. After all, this was the place she grew up in—and now she was back again.
'I'm really excited to reunite with my family! This still feels like a dream to !' Livia thought, her heart pounding in her chest, a mix of joy and nervous anticipation rising within her.
Shortly after, they all stood before the Imperial Family, shocking them with their sudden and unexpected appearance in the living room.
"Mother! Father! I'm back…" Livia cried out, imdiately running toward her parents, who had already stood up from the sofa the mont they saw her.
"Livia! My darling daughter!" Empress Elendriel rushed forward, pulling her into a warm embrace and hugging her tightly as tears stread down her face.
Once she let go of the hug, she gently cupped her daughter's face and said, "Do you know how worried I was about your safety? Do you even realize the kind of danger you were in?"
Emperor Lucien nodded, his expression firm yet emotional. "Indeed. You should have at least inford us before doing sothing so reckless. But since you've returned to us safely and unhard… let's leave that discussion for later."
He then looked toward his wife and added, "Dear, how about we let our daughter get so proper rest before we talk about what happened at the auction? She must be tired after the long journey."
"You're absolutely right, Honey. We have plenty of ti to hear everything from her," Empress Elendriel agreed with a smile, then turned to Yuan and his wives, her expression softening with gratitude.
"I can't even begin to express how grateful we are to all of you for helping us. We will forever remain in your debt," she said sincerely, bowing her head slightly—even as the Empress of one of the most powerful empires.
"There's no need to thank us, Lady Elendriel," Valeria replied, her tone firm and calm, radiating quiet strength. "We made a deal with Princess Livia to protect her from the Holy Church until matters regarding them are resolved."
"She made quite an appealing offer—one we couldn't refuse," Valeria added confidently.
"I see…" Emperor Lucien responded, curiosity flickering in his eyes as he wondered what kind of arrangent his daughter had made with this formidable group.
'I hope my foolish daughter didn't sell her body to this handso young man... As a father, I could never accept such a business deal,' Emperor Lucien thought to himself, eyeing Yuan suspiciously.
Shortly after, the Imperial Family ordered the servants to prepare a lavish dinner to celebrate the Princess's return to the Imperial City.
They also requested Yuan and his wives to stay the night at the Imperial Palace, as it wasn't safe outside given the empire's current situation.
Yuan and his wives gladly accepted the offer—they longed for so peace and quiet, and had no intention of spilling blood tonight.
Yuan especially didn't want any interruptions from the Holy Church while he enjoyed his ti with his beautiful wives. After all, the last ti he'd tried to share a romantic mont, it had been ruined by Conrad and two fools hungry for revenge.
