"I still can’t believe Mireya would take such a bold step against the Golden Lion Empire... She destroyed the dam they were building..." Kitsura sat on her bed inside her chamber, sighing heavily.

"Sooner or later, the Golden Lion Empire will co here to seek answers... I just hope Mireya doesn’t do sothing reckless again to offend them further."

She lay back on the soft bed, worry clouding her face. Sothing about the entire situation felt strange, but she couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was.

"Everything is happening so fast. The incident with the Dragon Blood Tribe before I arrived here, and now this matter with the Golden Lion Empire... What exactly is going on?" she muttered in a low voice, troubled by the chain of strange events.

Her heart tightened with concern for Mireya, who seed to be making enemies wherever she turned since reclaiming the throne. Why involve her in so many conflicts? What did she ever do wrong?

Kitsura longed for answers, yet deep down she knew she would never get the ones she sought. And then there was Yuan and his wives—each of them cloaked in mystery she couldn’t unravel.

To her eyes, everyone in Yuan’s group except Selvariel carried an unusual aura, like a dense veil blocking her senses from probing their true nature.

"The only thing I know about Yuan and his strange group of won is that they’re not as simple as they appear... Each one of them is a monster in disguise," Kitsura muttered, her tone serious. Yet when her thoughts drifted back to Yuan, vivid images of him flashed across her mind.

His perfect form had left her speechless at the hot spring, where they had shared a quiet, intimate mont of relaxation.

The mory of his strong body left her spellbound, her curiosity pushing her to want to know him better, to get closer. For the first ti in her life, her heart stirred—for a human, of all people.

’This is so strange... Why does my heart beat faster whenever I think of him? What’s happening to ?’ Kitsura’s confusion deepened, unable to reconcile her growing feelings. She had never been drawn so deeply to anyone before.

As Yuan’s image kept flashing before her eyes, a sudden realization struck her. Her eyes widened in shock.

"Am I... in love with him?" she whispered, her voice trembling as the truth of her emotions hit her like a hamr.

anwhile, deep in the forest near the Elven Kingdom, the trees rustled as the bright moonlight spilled across the ground. Four shadows erged silently from the woods.

"Finally, we have reached our destination," one of them muttered darkly, his eyes fixed on the Elven Kingdom before him.

One of them imdiately retrieved a strange device from his magic pouch. It resembled a pair of binoculars, but instead of lenses, it had two hollow golden tubes engraved with intricate markings. The enchanted symbols pulsed faintly as they reacted to magic.

This was no ordinary tool. It worked on the sa principle as normal binoculars but possessed far greater properties, allowing the user to see much farther than any conventional device.

Raising the magical tool to his eyes, the figure clad in black studied the Elven Kingdom carefully, scanning its surroundings and observing the positioning of the guards.

"The kingdom is surrounded by a powerful magical barrier. Not just any barrier—a Spirit Barrier. It can detect intruders in the blink of an eye," the man reported to his comrades in a grim voice.

He continued, "In addition, there are guards stationed every fifty ters. Each one is a warrior. If they detect us, we won’t leave this place alive."

He lowered the device and looked at his companions. "We must be extrely cautious when we slip into the kingdom. They must not sense our intrusion, and we ’must’ succeed in taking down their Queen."

"Understood!" the other three replied firmly, their expressions hard with resolve. They were ready to carry out their mission.

"Good. Then let’s get to work. And rember—leave no room for mistakes." The leader’s tone was cold and sharp as he prepared to move.

A mont later, their bodies flickered and vanished beneath the moonlight. They beca completely invisible, their presence erased even from Magic Sense, blending into the night as though they had never been there.

Carefully, they advanced, moving with deliberate slowness so their footsteps would not betray them. Though their invisibility cloaked their forms, it could not silence the faint sounds they made.

But the elves were naturally gifted with sharp senses. Their eyes could pierce through the dark, their ears could catch the faintest disturbance, and their instincts made them exceptional watchers of the night.

As the intruders drew closer to the massive trees that acted as the natural barrier of the Elven Kingdom, they overheard the guards posted nearby, chatting in low voices.

"Did you hear? Our Queen solved the water crisis today!" one elf spoke proudly to another.

"I heard the news in the city. They say Her Majesty personally went to resolve the matter. Admirable, isn’t it?"

"Indeed. It shows how deeply she values her people. She took action the mont she returned. If she continues to rule with such resolve, our kingdom’s future will be brighter than ever."

"Absolutely! With her leading us, the Elven Kingdom will surely rise to beco a great nation."

The elves continued their casual chatter, while the four unseen intruders listened in silence. They were surprised to hear how much the elves admired Queen Mireya—praising her for ruling with care and doing everything possible for the people and the future of the next generation.

’What a sha... your beloved Queen will never see the sunrise after this night...’ the leader thought coldly, before signaling his teammates to follow his lead.

They all nodded and trailed behind him until they reached the Spirit Barrier, the powerful enchantnt that shielded the city from monsters and uninvited intruders.

"Get the thing out. Quickly, before the guards notice us," the leader whispered, his voice barely audible.

"On it, Boss." One of them nodded with a grin, imdiately retrieving a magic scroll from his pouch and handing it over.

The leader took the scroll and pressed his palm against it, channeling Mana into the parchnt. Strange symbols lit up across the scroll before he slamd it against the barrier.

"Open..." he muttered. Instantly, the scroll pulsed with light, and a hole tore open in the barrier, just wide enough to pass through.

He turned to his team. "Move. Before the gate closes."

The others nodded quickly, slipping through one by one until only the leader remained. He entered last, and in seconds the barrier sealed shut behind them.

Monts later, they reached the Royal Palace of the Elven Kingdom. Their eyes widened as they gazed upon its beauty—the elegant design and otherworldly architecture left them montarily speechless.

"T-This is it... The Queen must already be asleep in her chambers," one of them whispered nervously, his voice trembling under the moonlight. The palace’s majesty was so overwhelming, it nearly froze him in place.

"Focus," the leader hissed, narrowing his eyes at the palace guards. "They’re everywhere. Stay sharp, make no noise. This mission cannot fail under any circumstances."

"I know. Our Mistress would skin us alive if we did..." another muttered with a shudder, his hand instinctively gripping his chest at the re ntion of her.

Steeling themselves, the assassins rged with the night, moving like phantoms between the shadows. Their bodies flickered in and out, nearly invisible as they slipped closer to the palace.

anwhile, inside Mireya’s chambers, Yuan and the others rested peacefully on the bed. Suddenly, Yuan sensed unusual movent beyond the palace walls.

Without hesitation, he unleashed his Divine Sense, spreading it across the entire kingdom in an instant. Every detail beca clear to him—every guard, every villager, every breath of life.

And then, he spotted them. Four intruders, moving like shadows toward the palace.

A wide grin spread across his face, sharp and dangerous, and everyone in the room imdiately noticed the shift in his expression.

Turning to his confused wives, Yuan spoke with a calm smile. "A few rats have slipped into the palace, and they’re heading this way as we speak."

"Rats? Are they from our kingdom?" Mireya asked, her eyes narrowing in suspicion.

"Nope. They don’t look like elves to . One of them has scales on his tail, and the other two have fur. Definitely not from here." Yuan replied, shaking his head lightly, the smile never leaving his lips.

"Not from our kingdom... then they must be assassins hired by soone." Sylvia muttered, her tone hardening as her anger flared.

She turned to Yuan with a sharp gaze. "Shall I neutralize them?"

"No need to go that far, Sylvia." Yuan shook his head with an amused smile. "Since they’re heading here anyway, let them co. We’ll prepare a ’grand welco’ for them."

"Isn’t that right, Emma?" Yuan asked, glancing at her.

Emma returned his look with a seductive smile and nodded. "Definitely. We should welco our guests properly."

With that, she pricked her fingertip with her sharp fangs, letting a single drop of blood form.

Channeling her Qi Manifestation, she manipulated the droplet, guiding it to the floor near the door.

The instant the blood touched the ground, it dissolved into smoke, mixing seamlessly with the air until it beca completely invisible.

"The banquet is ready. Now, all we’re missing are the guests." Emma’s voice dripped with allure as she smirked.

Angela, watching closely, blinked in confusion. She tilted her head, utterly lost, and even Vrasha wore the sa puzzled look.

"What did you just do, Emma? I don’t get it," Angela asked, curiosity written on her face.

Emma chuckled softly, her crimson eyes gleaming. "I’ve created a paralyzing mist around the door. The mont the intruders step inside, their bodies will be frozen where they stand."
