Yuan and his wives looked at Zephar with stunned expressions after hearing his words, the bold exclamation leaving them speechless.

The King of the Gods—a very prominent and the most powerful individual of the High Heaven. Everyone in the High Heaven follows his wishes, and everyone respects him not just because of his title as the God King.

They respect him because of his strength and the mastery of magic that no one else has ever managed to achieve. He is regarded as the strongest being in the entire world.

However, that’s only what people assu. In truth, no one truly knows the extent of his strength, as he hasn’t gone into battle for countless years.

Seeing the looks on Yuan and his wives’ faces, Zephar and Nerion couldn’t help but grin widely, thinking that Yuan and his wives had begun to fear their Lord.

Unfortunately for them, it was quite the opposite. Yuan found it amusing that Zephar and Nerion thought rely ntioning the God King would make him kneel and surrender to them.

’To think that the God King would be after and my wives... this is quite the amusing event. However, he has greatly underestimated .’ Yuan thought with an inward smile.

Anna Grace’s expression suddenly turned cold, her cultivation erupting like a volcano, turning the atmosphere within the entire palace icy.

"Who do you think you are to order my darling?" Anna Grace spoke in a cold, emotionless tone. "You’ve quite the nerve to co here and give such an absurd order..."

"Kneel!" she commanded, her icy voice resounding throughout the area.

As soon as Anna Grace spoke, Zephar and Nerion felt an overwhelming pressure unlike anything they had ever experienced. Even the God King himself couldn’t emit such power.

The pressure was like a crushing mountain—ancient and mysterious—forcing Zephar and Nerion to kneel on the ground as blood spilled from their mouths.

At first, both were puzzled to find themselves kneeling before a woman, but soon shock and disbelief took over as they realized what had just happened.

’T-This is... unbelievable! How could she make us kneel with a single word?’ Both of them looked at Anna Grace with disbelief written all over their faces.

Nerion turned silent for a mont, his expression twisting with humiliation and fury he could barely contain.

As a god from the High Heaven, he had been forced to kneel by a woman’s re words. She hadn’t even lifted a finger to make them submit—this was the most humiliating mont of his entire life.

Looking at Anna Grace with fury burning in his eyes, Nerion felt anger bubble like molten lava, ready to erupt at any mont.

"Y-You insolent woman! How dare you force us to kneel before you!" he roared, his voice trembling with rage.

"I’ll skin you all alive before dragging you to the High Heaven!!" Nerion bellowed, still kneeling as an unbearable weight pressed down upon him.

His Mana surged, reinforcing his body to resist the pressure, but his strength collapsed; he could not hold himself up against it.

’What kind of magic did this woman use that I can no longer move my body?’ Nerion thought, eyes wide with disbelief as he stared at Anna Grace.

Zephar fared no better. No matter how hard he strained, he could not move; a burning ache in his chest spread through him, and his eyes widened in stunned confusion.

’It’s useless! No matter how much Mana I pour out, I can’t move a single muscle! What is happening?!’ Zephar raged inwardly, utterly baffled by the sudden reversal.

As proud gods of High Heaven, flaunting their strength and dominion, neither Zephar nor Nerion could accept kneeling before an unknown woman.

"Is that all you can do? You call yourselves gods? Are you mocking us?" Anna Grace’s voice rang out sharply, leaving both Zephar and Nerion reeling.

With a cold glare she continued, "You are nothing but mortals pretending to be gods... to you are ants I can crush at will."

"Hmph! Who are you to call us insects?! You have no idea of the consequences of offending a god!" Nerion snapped through gritted teeth, rage dangerously close to overflowing.

Yuan shook his head at Nerion’s arrogance, amusent threatening to spill out, though he kept his expression composed.

"It seems you two fools still don’t grasp your situation... In front of and my wives, you so-called High Heaven elites are less than insects," Yuan said calmly, his voice carrying a chill that crawled up both gods’ spines.

"Talking to you is pointless—this charade should end now." Yuan sneered, then summoned his Empyreal Oblivion from his system storage.

As soon as the sword appeared in Yuan’s hand, Zephar and Nerion felt a cold dread crawl down their spines, as if a single touch would an certain death.

Their instincts flared; Mana erupted from their bodies as they tried to flee. But the crushing pressure pinned them—every desperate effort was useless.

"What is this pressure?! Why can’t we break free?!" Zephar shouted, sweat beading on his brow as panic rose. He was certain that if he didn’t escape now, he would die.

Nerion was no different—he poured out Mana until he trembled, straining with all his might. Nothing worked.

Both gods stood utterly helpless. Their earlier arrogance had been shattered; the only thought left in their minds was to flee, whatever the cost.

"What’s with this situation? Aren’t gods supposed to be almighty?" Leah chuckled at their panicked faces, her mocking tone cutting deep.

Zephar and Nerion glared at her, red with humiliation. They gritted their teeth and summoned every ounce of strength, trying to force themselves free from the invisible bind.

"Let’s test them—see if they’re truly gods," Yuan said, a wide grin spreading across his face as he raised his sword. "If they don’t die when I cut them, then we’ll believe they’re gods."

"Indeed. If gods are immortal, they’ll survive your strike," Leah agreed, eyes bright with excitent and a playful grin on her lips.

"An amazing idea. I support it!" Lily echoed, nodding eagerly.

Yuan glanced at his wives; each gave a small nod, smirks playing on their faces. Then he turned his attention back to Zephar and Nerion.

"N-No! You can’t do this—we’ll die!" Nerion shouted in terror, seeing the intent in Yuan’s eyes.

"You won’t die. After all, you’re a god," Yuan said with a chilling smirk. He swung his sword in a single, fluid motion so swift the gods could hardly perceive it.

Zephar fared the sa—unable to follow the blade’s path with his eyes, stunned by its speed.

Ting! A tallic note rang out as the sword sliced through Nerion’s form—an invisible, lethal strike delivered with impossible speed.

Silence fell as Zephar watched the scene with a horrified look on his face; he was powerless to stop Yuan from swinging his sword at Nerion.

However, his eyes sharpened and he squinted in confusion as Nerion appeared unhurt—no scratch marred his body. It looked as though the sword had simply slipped past him.

"N-Nothing happened??" Zephar muttered in disbelief, still puzzled by the sight before him.

"Take a closer look..." Yuan chuckled softly, shaking his head a little in mild disappointnt at Zephar’s confusion.

At that, Zephar narrowed his eyes and realized Nerion was not moving at all—frozen in place, not even blinking.

Suddenly a thin line appeared along Nerion’s body, from head to toe. The line slowly darkened and then turned crimson as blood began to seep from it.

"T-Th..." Zephar’s eyes widened in outright horror; no words ca from his mouth.

The next instant, Nerion’s body was cleaved into two halves. A fountain of blood sprayed and a widening puddle ford on the ground as his body collapsed.

Zephar stood motionless, his face drained of color and his stomach turning; the scent of blood made him vomit on the spot.

"This is impossible..." he whispered in disbelief, staring at the corpse beside him, utterly shaken.

"It seems he was rely a mortal... not a god," Yuan muttered in a low, mocking voice, his tone playful yet cold as he observed the fallen.

"If he were a god, he would still be standing. It’s a pity he died so easily... sigh. May his soul rest in peace," Yuan continued with a heavy sigh, looking toward the sky, then narrowing his eyes at Zephar with a vicious grin.

"SHUT UP!! You have no idea what you have done," Zephar roared, eyes blazing red with fury. "When the God King learns of this, he will make sure you pay for killing a god!"

"Every god in this world will co after you. You cannot hide anywhere. We will find you and slay you along with your wives!"

Yuan felt irritation flare at the threat and shot Zephar a hard, silent glare for a few heartbeats.

"Hmph! Keep bluffing... Only I can write my fate; no one else," Yuan snorted coldly. Then, with a swift motion, he swung his sword again and decapitated Zephar on the spot.
